Terms and Conditions:
1. You are responsible for the use of your user ID (UID) and all computer accounts that are
assigned to you. You may not give anyone else access to your UID or computer accounts.
You must not use a UID or a University computer account that was not assigned to you. You
may not try in any way to obtain a password for another user’s UID or computer account. The
UID and its associated password are the property of University Information Technology.
Applications and services that require their use must be approved by the System Analyst.
2. You may not misrepresent yourself or your data on the network.
3. You are responsible for the security of your password. This includes changing password on
regular basis and making sure no one else knows them. Preserve the user credentials
carefully.
4. Network Facility Centre (NFC) may change the password of your user account, on
request, only once in your course duration, in case of loss of password.
5. You must not use CUK’s network resources to gain or attempt to gain unauthorized access to
remote computers.
6. You must not deliberately perform an act that will seriously damage the operation of
computers, terminals, peripherals, or networks.
7. You must not run or install on any of CUK’s computer system, a program that could result in
the eventual damage to a file or computer system and /or the reproduction of itself. This is
directed towards, but not limited to, the classes of programs known as computer viruses,
Trojan horses, and worms.
8. You must not attempt to circumvent data protect schemes or exploit security loopholes or
interfere with standard technical measures that identify and protect the rights of copyright
owners.
9. User Credentials will be sent via e-mail and text message to the registered email id and
mobile no. within two working days of form submission to NFC.
10. CUK E-mail ID will be issued only on request through the concerned department.
11. CUK E-mail ID services will be available for the timeframe of your course duration at CUK.
12. CUK E-mail ID will be deleted after your course duration; hence all the mails and associated
data must be taken care of by the user.
13. CUK holds no responsibility in preserving data associated with your CUK E-mail ID.
14. These term and conditions are subject to change without notice, from time to time in our sole
decision, the posting of any changes to these Term and Conditions will mean you accept
those changes.
