Client Profile: Nespresso, is an operating unit of the Nestlé Group, based in Lausanne, Switzerland.
Nespresso machines brew espresso and coffee from coffee capsules (or pods in machines for home or

professional use), a type of pre-apportioned single-use container of ground coffee beans, sometimes with
added flavourings.

Roles and Responsibilities:

❖ Responsible for the rollout projects of SNP & PPDS areas for Nespresso Avenches and Orbe plants.
❖ Responsible for implementing Color codes & Groups for DS planning board scheduling for Orbe &
Avenches factories.

Client Profile: Sharp Electronics Corporation Americas (is a part of Sharp Electronics Corporation, Japan)
designs and manufactures electronic products like Consumer Electronics (audio/video equipment, TVs and
home appliances) and office machines etc. It is the fourth-largest television manufacturer in the world,
after Samsung, LG and Sony.
Roles and Responsibilities:

❖ Completely responsible for the DP Monthly data loads, Change Management Activities and CIF
monitoring.
❖ Responsible for the change management activities for Sharp Americas 5 business units which are
spread across USA, Canada and LAG (Latin American Group of countries) , which include solving the
incidents and completely responsible carrying out the SAP APO DP specific monthly activities(like
Monthly Data Loads, Forecasts Copying from Canada & LAG to USA, Forecast Uploads for various
Account Managers in all the three regions, etc. )
❖ Most of the service requests and the incidents are related to setting up the new master data (CVCs),
deleting/changing the existing master data, transaction data, etc. Incidents resulting because of the
wrong master data setup in the ECC as well as wrong data input by the planners resulting in the data
discrepancies, etc.
❖ Debugging and fine tuning some of the existing Z-programs by modifying the code in the same,
because of their longer runtimes and also to incorporate the new business logic in the same.
❖ Was completely responsible for carrying out an APO system upgrade from SAP SCM 5.0 to SCM 7.0

DP & SNP Developments:

❖ Modifying an existing DP report that fetches the data pertaining to Purchasing, Sales and Inventory
report from both an ad-hoc (GPSI) & ECC systems. (Incorporating the date ranges(from-to), making the
current setting accept the past months and display the report in the inputted from-to months).
❖ Modifying an existing DP report to incorporate the in-transit inventory.
❖ Responsible for integrating receiving the customer BJ’s sales data using EDI and a
middleware(GENTRAN) into APO demand planning and sending the APO forecasts to BJ’s every month.
❖ Transferring Purchase Requisitions of only some of the products immediately from APO to R3, this is
achieved by triggering an event using a user-exit macro from the SNP planning book and this event will
in turn run a background job that contains variant for the products whose purchase requisitions be
sent to R3 immediately.
❖ Created a report to extract a product’s information in its Base Unit of measure (BUn) than the Planning
areas unit of measure. Example: A products base unit is EA, which is equal to X grams. When this data
is extracted from the Planning Area (BUn KGs) it is extracted in the Grams not in EA.

CIF (Core Interface) & System Monitoring:

❖ Creating/Activating Integration Models for the Master data (Plants, Customers, Vendors, Resources,
Materials, SNP PDSs, PPDS PDSs, Purchase Info Records, etc) and Transaction Data (Planned
orders/Process orders, Sales orders, Stocks, Reservations, Purchase requisitions/Purchase orders, etc)
❖ CIF Monitoring - Extensively worked on the CIF Queue Manager monitoring and handled the faulty
queues and CIF related errors occurred during transactional/master data flow between R/3 and APO.
Also Responsible for running the reconciliation of the data between R3 and APO using the
reconciliation report (/SAPAPO/CCR)
❖ System Monitoring - It includes the monitoring of the daily /weekly/monthly APO & R3 background
jobs and process chain analysis.

SAP APO DP & SNP Implémentation & PPDS Go-live Support

Responsibilities:
❖ Maintained the Demand Planning configurations settings that are required to generate the demand
forecast like Maintaining Storage and Planning Bucket Profiles, S&DP Administration (Creation of
Master Planning Object Structure and Planning Area) Maintaining Panning Books and Data Views,
Maintaining Characteristic Values, Creating Forecast Profiles, Maintaining Promotion Key Figures, etc.
❖ Setting up APO BW for Loading the Historical Data from Excel for testing the data upload.
❖ Responsible for selection of suitable forecasting strategies for business scenarios and their
configurations. Maintaining Forecast Profiles, Macros, Transfer Profiles and Release Profiles and
created Activities for Mass Processing.
❖ Stored the Constrained, Unconstrained Forecast in the back up cube for reporting purposes.

Roles and Responsibilities:


❖ Responsible for enhancing the standard system functionality by aligning the same with the business
requirements through ABAP developments in DP, SNP and PPDS modules.

❖ Responsible for conducting the user-trainings for the system functionality and participated in the
various test like the unit testing, integration testing and the user acceptance testing during the project
time.
❖ Responsible for identifying and enhancing the existing system functionality within the above said
modules by initiating sub-implementation projects.

PPDS Enhancements:
