Story 1 — The Window A child watched rain trace slow rivers down the glass. Each drop told
a story of where it had been—a rooftop, a leaf, a distant cloud. The child pressed their
forehead to the pane and practiced following the droplets, learning patience by watching
small journeys finish.
Story 2 — The Red Bicycle An old red bicycle leaned against a wall, paint flaking like old
maps. It remembered days when laughter echoed down alleys and a small boy rode with the
future glowing in his grin. Time passed; the boy grew, but some afternoons the bicycle
dreamed of creaking chains and hurried pedals.
Story 3 — Letter in a Drawer A folded letter sat in a drawer for decades, words waiting
patiently. One day, a granddaughter found it and read the handwriting that smelled faintly
of perfume and summer. The letter didn't change history, but it softened an ache by
answering a question that had been silent for years.
