PROCEDURE

Parts Activities
 Review school subjects: in pair, the pupils list 8 different
school subjects. They order the school subjects from the

the lesson their ideas.
 Say Today we’re going to learn the names of school
equipment from the past and present.
Pupil's Book Activity 1: Look at Sven’s photos. Answer the
questions
 Invite a pupil to read out the speech bubble. Ask Do you

 The class look at item 1 in the photo. Ask What’s this? The

 Play the CD again, pausing after each word for the pupils to
repeat. You can find the answers for this activity in the

Pupil's Book Activity 3: Listen and do the vocabulary quiz.

 Play the CD. Listen to the first definition, pausing at the
beep to allow the pupils to say the word. Play the CD to
listen to the answer.

Pupil's Book Activity 4: Copy and complete the school
concept map.
 In pairs, the pupils copy and complete the concept
 Ask pairs to share their maps with the class.
