Assessed by the Furniture Industry Research Association, in accordance with British and International standards for all aspects of workmanship and fitness for purpose, it brings the assurance that this product has been manufactured to the highest standards. Gloss worktops All gloss Axiom worktops (AB61) benefit from the unique ar plus laminate technology, which gives enhanced wear and scuff resistance compared to all other gloss laminates. Gloss surfaces do scratch more easily so additional care must be taken. Solid Surfacing worktops Formica Limited offers a lifetime guarantee on its range of Solid Surfacing worktops. This guarantee covers any Solid Surfacing worktop found to be defective in either material or manufacture from the date of installation. A Solid Surfacing worktop is constructed from 6mm thick Solid Surfacing sheet material bonded to moisture resistant chipboard. Axiom Solid Surfacing worktops are supplied with a factory finish, which must be sanded and polished after fitting, as described in the instructions supplied with each worktop. Solid Wood worktops Axiom Solid Wood worktops come with a 12-month guarantee valid from the delivery date which covers all defects related to the production of the worktop. However, it does not cover incorrect treatment, maintenance, storage or installation of the worktops. Solid Wood worktops are supplied un-oiled. The worktops will need several coats of oil to help protect the natural wood. The oil will affect the overall colour of the wood. Full instructions on oiling will be included with the worktops. Upstands & Splashbacks Axiom laminate upstands and splashbacks carry a 10-year guarantee. This guarantee covers any upstand or splashback found to be defective in either material or manufacture for up to 10 years from the date of installation. Gloss and aluminium surfaces do scratch more easily so additional care should be taken on installation. We are unable to accept any responsibility for the scratching of these products.
