Description
Sure-Vue® Adeno Test Kit is a rapid, visual assay for the presumptive qualitative detection of Adenovirus
serotypes present in eye swabs, nasal and pharyngeal secretions, fecal samples and cell culture supernatant.

SECTION III: COMPOSITION


Chemical Composition:
Strip contains reagents in dry form (Nitrocellulose membrane, fiberglass pad, antibodies and colloidal gold
solution). Pursuant to OSHA’s Hazardous Communications Standard 29 CFR 1910.1200, these products are not
considered to contain hazardous materials.
Tubes with Extraction Buffer: Buffer contains 0.1% Sodium Azide.

SECTION IV: FIRST AID MEASURES


After skin contact: Immediately, wash affected area thoroughly with soap and water. Remove contaminated
clothing and shoes, if necessary. Seek medical attention, if irritation develops or persists.
After eye contact: Immediately, flush eyes under gently running water for at least 15 minutes, making sure that
the eyelids are held open. Seek medical attention, if irritation or redness develops.
After ingestion: Rinse mouth with plenty of water to dilute the substance. Immediate medical attention is
required.
After inhalation: Move person into fresh air. Seek medical attention.

Extinguishing Media: Not combustible. Use extinguishing media suitable for surrounding materials.
