BEFORE ACCEPTING THE OFFER OF ADMISSION – Before accepting the Offer of Admission (Page 6) please ensure that you have
read all of the information regarding Aim Institute, course information and also information regarding studying in Australia
and living expense in Australia. These are available on the website at www.aiminstitute.nsw.edu.au
ACCEPTING THIS OFFER OF ADMISSION – To accept this offer you are required to accept the following Terms and Conditions in
the Contract with AIM INSTITUTE then you sign the Acceptance Letter on Page 7 and forward it to the College or your agent
along with the "Total Course Money due to the College on Enrolment" shown on Page 2.
AFTER ACCEPTANCE – Following receipt of your signed Acceptance Letter and payment, Aim Institute will issue you a
Confirmation of Enrolment (CoE) which will allow you to apply for an Australian Student Visa.
PAYMENT OF TUITION FEES - Table E sets out the Details of your Schedule Payments. This is when your fees are due. If a student
does not pay the fees by the due date, a late fee may be charged and you may lose your place in the course. The College
reserves the right to review its fees without notice.

TUITION FEE REFUND POLICY –The following are the summary extracted from college tuition fee refund policies. The full detail
of refund policy can be found at college website: www.aiminstitute.nsw.edu.au .AIM INSTITUTE's refund policy applies to both
commencing and re-enrolling students. It is set out in the International Student Handbook and below. All requests for a refund
must be submitted on the appropriate refund application form and must be accompanied by official documentary evidence of
the grounds for the request. Your initial application fee to AIM INSTITUTE is not refundable.
Refunds apply only to tuition fees and will only be paid to the applicant through an Australian Dollar draft.
The College's policy on the refund of fees has been determined in accordance with the Education Services for Overseas Student
Act 2000 (ESOS Act 2000) and the Education Services for Overseas Student Regulations 2001 (ESOS Regulations 2001). This
policy applies to all students irrespective of who pays the fees.
The student has to submit the Refund Application before the case is processed. All refunds incur a $250 administration fee
except where it is specifically stated. All bank transfer fees will be deducted from the refund amount.
The following conditions are applied for both College and Student defaults. The amount of refund is determined as follows:
Total Refund of Tuition Fee

In the unlikely event that the College is unable to provide A total refund will be granted under these circumstances
the course for which an offer has been made. An alternate
offer of a place will be offered at no extra cost to the
students as well as the refund option.
An offer of a place is withdrawn by AIM INSTITUTE (The
exception is when the offer was made on the basis of
intentional incorrect information).
The applicant is unable to obtain a visa from an
Australian Diplomatic Office.

Applications for a total refund on the above grounds must be lodged at least 2 weeks prior to the commencement of the term
for which the offer is made. The student must provide a certified copy of the official letter of visa application rejection by the
Department of Home Affairs (DHA) along with their application, in order for the refund application to be approved.

Partial Refund of Tuition Fee

to that company's refund policy. The student will be advised on how to contact these companies in the refund calculation
letter.
How to claim a refund
Provider Default - Where the refund is generated by a College Default, the College will initiate the refund process on the date of
the decision and notify the student within 10 working days from the decision date. A refund letter with calculations showing
fees to be refunded will be sent to the student. No administration fee.
Student Refund Request - To claim any refund, you must complete a Refund Application Form and return together with your
receipt of course fees and certified copies of any supporting documents (such as Visa rejection letter, etc.) to the College. The
refund will be paid in Australian dollars and you will be provided with a letter explaining how the refund was calculated. It
will be posted to your address in your home country within 14 days from the receipt of the Refund Application form.

Appeal and Refund Payment - In both situations, the student will have 10 working days to lodge an appeal if he/she is not
satisfied with the College's decision. The payment will be processed within 10 working days from the end of the appeal period.
The refund will be paid in Australian dollars to the person or bank account nominated in the Refund Application Form
regardless who initially paid the tuition fee. For overseas refund payment, an international money transfer fee will be
deducted from the refund amount.
Change of address and contact details - During the period of your enrolment you are obliged to keep your contact details up to
date. All students have to provide the College an email address and communicate with you using that address. You must
inform us of any change of address details, as soon as you change your accommodation arrangements.
Failing to inform the College your correct address is a breach of your visa conditions.
Full time study hours - The courses are designed for full time study load with face to face 20hours learning per week.
Work placement – The courses include a work placement with the service provider that is completed in a block of hours. You
must be available to attend the placement. It is an essential part of the learning and assessment in your course.
As part of work placement, it requires you to have a physical ability and willingness to operate lifting machinery and do
moderate lifting as well.
Course progress - You must pass at least 50% of your units and attend 70% of class times each term. You are allowed to repeat
a unit only once. Failing to progress means breaching your student visa conditions.
Working hours – Full time students may seek paid work to a maximum of 40 hours per fortnight (2 weeks) during term time. You
are allowed un-limited work during term breaks or holidays. Working over 40 hours per fortnight during term is a serious
breach of your student visa conditions.
Information sharing - Information collected about you on this form and during your enrolment can be provided, in certain
circumstances, to the Australian Governments (both Federal and State levels) and designated authorities and, if relevant, the
Tuition Protection Scheme. In other instances information collected during your enrolment can be disclosed without your
consent where authorised or required by law, this may include circumstance of any suspected breach by the student of a
student visa condition.
Complaints and Appeals - You are entitled to access the Complaints and Appeals process should you be dissatisfied about the
course or College decisions. This information is available in the International Student Handbook and the website. You should
also be aware that this agreement, and the availability of complaints and appeals processes, does not remove the right of the
student to take action under Australia's consumer protection law.

ACCEPTANCE LETTER to AIM INSTITUTE


I (Sukhvir Kaur) am aware of the extent of the course fees and living costs associated with studying in the
course at Aim Institute and I am prepared to meet these costs.
I have read, understood and agreed to abide by the College policies, the Terms and Conditions of Enrolment and this student
agreement.
I have read and understood my responsibilities regarding health cover and visas.
I have read and understood the information about studying in Australia and the ESOS framework.
I understand that I am not required to pay more than AU$1500 or more than 50% of the course fee unless I chose to do so.
I agree that I have decided to make the above-mentioned (within payment schedule/ plan) Upfront payment towards my course
fee.
I understand that my personal information, including my personal and contact details, course enrolment details and changes,
and the circumstances of any suspected breach of my student visa conditions, may be shared between the College and the
Australian Government and designated authorities.
I understand that if I provide incorrect or incomplete information, this may result in cancellation of my enrolment. I recognize
that it is my responsibility to provide all necessary documentation to support this application.
I authorize Aim Institute to obtain further information where necessary. I understand that I am obliged to notify the College of
any change of contact details and address while I am enrolled in the course.
