This handout will help the teacher to achieve pedagogic assessment objectives.

It should not be used in isolation but as a compliment/supplement to the textbooks Introduction to

QHSE Vol 1 & 2 to help teachers and students prepare for their exams.

Revision Questions are crucial in the classroom as they solidify knowledge, boost confidence and reduce
exam anxiety. They help students to identify knowledge gaps, practice applying concepts and develop
effective exam-taking strategies.

By engaging with revision questions, students become more familiar with the materials, which gives
them a sense of preparedness that leads to improved performance.

 Revision questions helps students recall facts, strengthen their memory and retention.
 They expose areas where students may be struggling or have gaps in their understanding. This
helps them to focus on those specific areas of study.
 Repeatedly working with revision questions helps the student to be familiar with the exam
format, leading to increased confidence and reduced anxiety/stress.
 By practicing with revision questions, students learn how to allocate their time effectively during
exams. This helps them address all questions within the time limit.
 Revision questions help the learner to be more targeted when they know the level of difficulty
they can expect.

Hopefully, these questions and proposed answers will help the learners to have a deeper understanding
of the subject matter.

With this guide, we hope to see positive feedback in the performance of candidates and this will boost
up confidence and job satisfaction to teachers in the field of QHSE!!

This Revision Guide is timely. Both teachers and students will find it resourceful.
