swimming-pool-log-sheet-

The document is a sample log sheet for pool water testing and maintenance, detailing the parameters to be recorded such as chlorine levels, pH, alkalinity, and temperature. It includes a section for daily maintenance activities and requires a review by the facility manager. Additionally, it provides a formula for calculating the Langelier Saturation Index (LSI) to assess water balance.

Water Balance
Using the water balance chart on reverse, calculate the Langelier Saturation Index (LSI). The ideal LSI is 0.2 and the range is –0.5 to 0.5.
LSI = pH + TF + CF + AF - 12.1
where:
TF = Temperature factor
+ + + - 12.1 = Calculated by (signature)
CF = Calcium Hardness factor
pH TF CF AF LSI
AF = Alkalinity Factor
