THE PLACE I WANT TO GO


 Hello, I'm Nuri Helvalı . Today,
let's talk about the place ı want to
go Angkor Wat. Built by second
King Suryavarman in the 1115 to
1145, it's a mix of Hindu and
Buddhist styles. The king
Suryaman (unknow reason)
placed vishnu, not shiva at the
center of palace religious life
unlike old Khmer Kings. The
temple area is huge, covering
about 500000 square meters
 Angkor Wat is located in Cambodia, 6
kilometers near the city of Siem Reap. İn the past
it was a Hindu temple but in the thirteenth
century it's change to a Buddhist temple.
 Angkor city is became the capital city in 890
and power symbol of Khmer Kingdom. The
Angkor city was biggest city in the world before
industrial revolution.
 Over time, Angkor Wat faced challenges, and
in the late fourteenth century everbody was
gone and the tample hugged by nature because
of the capital city change to Phnom Penh. In the
1858 a French explorer man called Henri Mouht
find it and introduced it to the world.
 The trees and nature stuff cleaned in twenty
century. İt's have a good protecting now.
 With its architecture, it
presents Mount Meru, which is
believed to be the place where
the gods live in Hinduism. The
temple is surrounded by thick
and long (3.6 km) walls . There
is a small dome in each corner
of the temple and a large dome
in the middle. Unlike many
other Angkor temples, Angkor
Wat front face looks west.
And It was included in the
World Cultural Heritage List in
1992, together with the Angkor
Thom. Angor Wat is most visited
turist are in the country
