Doosan Engine, the leader in the field of
diesel engines for the global marine and
diesel power plant market, aims to become
the No. 1 Engine in the World with an
annual production capacity of 10 million
kW.
Since its first successful completion of
the turnkey supply of a 40MW diesel
power plant to Jeju island, Korea in 1990,
Doosan has delivered many diesel power
plants both domestically and overseas
(Africa, Greece, the Pacific ocean and
India) as an EPC contractor based on
outstanding technology and business
processing know-how.
Notably, Doosan Engine participated
in the project to build the worlds first
environment-friendly 2 x 40MW diesel
power plant on Jeju Island of Korea
in 2005 as the main contractor and
successfully completed Clean Power
Station. Furthermore, Doosan has also
provided emergency power generator
for nuclear power plant in Korea,
thereby confirming its high quality and
performance in this highly specialized
field.
