The document outlines several proposed photo shoots that celebrate and explore different aspects of femininity, sensuality, and the female form. Some of the proposed shoots include capturing the Greek goddesses Aphrodite, Artemis and Athena; juxtaposing a model in elegant dress alongside railroad tracks and bridges; portraying a model as both Persephone and her mother Demeter; exploring the dual sides of Aphrodite's sensuality and the destructive allure of the Sirens; depicting a model surrounded by dolls in a dollhouse setting; celebrating real women's bodies as they are; and portraying a model in cemeteries expressing longing for a lost loved one. Capturing the Goddess The Strength, Beauty, and Wisdom of Woman: Overview: Capturing all three personages of Aphrodite, Artemis, and Athena in one model. The Aphrodite shots with a pedestal involved, draped in white. These are both inside and out. The dominant motifs are curves, flowing lines, gossamer-like feel in the draping. The Artemis shots are outside, framed with trees, holding a staff. The ward robing may even involve a costume that is long and flowing, but is sharper and with firmer lines. The Athena shots involve a robe and a lantern and an owl, as Athena was often pictured with the Owl of Minerva. Aim: Each goddess image needs to convey sensuality; Aphrodite is likely the easiest and hardest because it is the most done, but also the most badly done. Shes not just about sex; shes about femininity and the hearth and home also, even more so. Artemis is goddess of the hunt, so conveys a natural beauty and natural strength; a very no-nonsense and yet open sort of sensuality also dangerous, as nature can be both beautiful and dangerous; Athena calm, wise, but alluring. Again, openness here. Most of the Athena shots that I've seen go for the heavily armored warrior, but Athena is the goddess of Athens and playing up the wisdom side. The point being that beauty, strength, and wisdom/knowledge are all beautiful, strong, and sensual - that the lines between them are blurred, discernible, distinct, but also each part of the other. Longing and Loss Overview and Aim: The second feature of the Capturing the Goddess project is Persephone, kidnapped by Hades, and becomes queen of the underworld. She is both alluring, as the daughter of Spring (Demeter) and as queen of the underworld - a sharp contrast that highlights light and dark, both of which can be quite sensual, and quite threatening. Once again, capturing both Persephone and Demeter with the same model is intriguing. Sensuality Overview and Aim: The third feature in the goddess theme has to do with two sides of sensuality Aphrodite, on the one hand, and the Sirens, on the other. One of which captures the allure of sensuality that results in the celebration of life and the other the allure that is ultimately destructive. It is important here to do both sides with the same model.

2. Railroad Juxtapositions Railroad Chic Overview and Aim: model in elegant gown posing along track (preferably a curved one) and along a rail bridge and maybe even with an engine or boxcar; the older and more run down the railroad and setting the better to stand out against the elegance of the model. Railroad Sexy Overview and Aim: same track, etc., only with the model is sheer or shimmering or revealing wardrobe. This project includes implied nudity and, in some cases, nudity. The aim is to capture the crisp, hard lines of the track, the sensuality of nature, and the elegance of the human form. Railroad Lace is also included as a theme. Railroad Espionage

Overview and Aim: The aim here is to recreate and add edge to the classic film noir of the 50s. Think Orient Express or Casablanca. Juxtapose that with the modern scene, with sharper lines. Both are in black and white and color as a way of playing the periods and the images against each other. Example: The model in black or "undercover" style - in the first, more of a sleek, elegant 21st century imagining of the spy, in the other, a more 50s Humphrey Bogart sort of look. 3. The Doll House The Model as Doll Raggedy Ann, Dorothy from Oz, Model surrounded by and covered by stuffed animals. The Model as Owner of the Dolls A pastiche of little girl with lots of stuffed animals, older girl with dolls and stuffed animals, young woman with a few favorite stuffed animals, etc. As a series and as individual shots.

4. Real Women/Real Curves Aim: A celebration of the beauty of real women, not faked, photo shopped to death, etc. The settings are also important in grocery store and headed to a club, washing dishes or cooking and at the office managing a major financial deal. This shoot involves both implied and actual nudity. 5. Longing and Loss Shot in cemeteries, the aim is for the elegantly attired model to demonstrate yearning for one who is lost. The model is also in a variety of flowing and gossamer-like outfits.

Ongoing Stock Projects: 1. Strength. I absolutely love poses that communicate power and strength. Shot from multiple angles, but definitely from above and from below, at oblique angles. Bond pics and Shields in Jordache. Also, shooting from behind with model looking back over shoulder. Bright and simple backgrounds. 2. Juxtapositions. Stark lines of architecture juxtaposed with the soft lines of flowing clothes and the natural lines of the human body. Also, juxtapositions of wardrobe and buildings for example, something like a ball gown or prom dress or evening gown with the backdrop of either a rural building or a crumbling wall or a wall with an old, faded advertising mural. 3. Female form, mens clothing generally white shirt, tie, suit coat arranged in suggestive, but nonexplicit ways. 4. Pinup: Example - Model in lingerie (not particularly revealing), reclining on a bed, generally reading a book, with maybe what is clearly an absent person (mobster, etc.), shot in sepia to add a sense of age to the image.
