For Charmaine (thanks for the inspiration!), KL, Viv, Brenda, Pippa, and all the other great teachers our there, in recognition of the immense responsibility you have, the difficulty of the duties required, and the great jobs you all do meeting it. We live and work in an economy that rewards someone who saves the lives of others on a battlefield with a medal, rewards a great teacher with thank you notes from parents, but rewards those who can detect the mis pricing of securities with sums reaching into the billions. (Warren Buffet). Just because this is how the economy works does not mean this is how our minds and hearts need to.
