Hat pattern adapted from Spanish Fan Doily pattern available at http://www.freevintagecrochet.com/doilypatterns/spanish-fan-doily Finished Size: One size, 21 opening, stretches to fit head Yarn: Sensations Bamboo & Ewe in Charcoal Grey, 1 skein, or any other #1 super fine weight yarn Hook: C2/2.75mm, or size needed to obtain gauge Notions: none Gauge: 6 st and 6 rows of sc = 1 Starting at center, ch 2.

1st rnd: 6 sc in 2nd ch from hook. Join with ss to first sc. 2nd rnd: Ch 3, dc in same place as ss, * ch 2, 2 dc in next sc. Repeat from * around. Join with ss to top of ch-3 (6 sps). 3rd rnd: Ch 3, dc in next dc, * ch 5, dc in next 2 dc. Repeat from * around. Join. 4th rnd: Ch 3, dc in next dc, * ch 7, dc in next 2 dc. Repeat from * around. Join. 5th rnd: Ch 3, dc in next dc, * ch 5, sc in next loop, ch 5, dc in next 2 dc. Repeat from * around. Join. 6th rnd: Ch 3, dc in next dc, * ch 5, 5 dc in next sc, ch 5, dc in next 2 dc.
