F2 Management Accounting This paper will develop your understanding of the basic cost and quantitative information required for business decision making. F3 Financial Accounting This paper will show you the underlying principles and concepts of financial accounting. Skills Module (F4 F9) F4 Corporate and Business Law This paper will give you an understanding of the legal framework that relates to business. F5 Performance Management On completion of this paper, you will be able to apply management accounting techniques to both quantitative and qualitative information. F6 Taxation This paper will develop your knowledge of the tax system and how it applies to both individuals and companies. F7 Financial Reporting This paper equips you with the knowledge to prepare, present, analyse and interpret financial statements. F8 Audit and Assurance This paper develops your knowledge of the process and application of audit assurance engagements. F9 Financial Management This paper will show you what is expected of a financial manager, as well as address issues that affect investment and financing. Professional Level Essentials Module (P1 P3) This module will teach you the advanced technical skills, techniques and values you will need in order to act as an expert accountant in a senior advisory or consultancy role. The module consists of three papers, all of which are assessed through three-hour paper-based exams. P1 Governance, Risk and Ethics This paper shows you how to exercise relevant skills, knowledge and professional judgement in carrying out the role of the accountant with regard to governance, internal control, compliance, and the management of risk within an organisation all in the context of an overall ethical framework. P2 Corporate Reporting This paper demonstrates how you can apply knowledge and skills from previous papers to evaluate financial reporting principles and practices. P3 Business Analysis This paper shows you how to assess and implement business strategies. Options Module (P4 P7) This module is slightly different from the rest. It contains four papers, but you only need to study two. The module therefore gives you a chance to really focus in on your chosen areas of specialism, equipping you with the knowledge needed to give you a head start along your anticipated career path. All modules are assessed through three-hour paper-based exams. P4 Advanced Financial Management This paper will give you an understanding of the knowledge needed to manage the finances of an organisation. P5 Advanced Performance Management This paper will demonstrate how you can evaluate business performance through the application of strategic accounting techniques. P6 Advanced Taxation This paper demonstrates how to evaluate the impact major taxes have on the financial decisions of businesses and individuals. P7 Advanced Audit and Assurance This paper teaches you how to analyse, evaluate and conclude an audit engagement.
