Prepositions of Time + Homework

We use different prepositions to indicate time. We use "at" for exact times like eight o'clock, meal times like at breakfast, parts of the day like at night, and festivals like at Christmas. We use "on" for days of the week like on Tuesday, dates like on January 10th, anniversaries like on my birthday, and special days like on Christmas Day. We use "in" for months of the year like in July, seasons like in Autumn, years like in 1971, and parts of the day like in the evening. We don't use prepositions before words like this, last, next, or every when referring to time.
