This book was a representation of what the catalog looked like in 1902. It showed how Sears made sure that what they were selling was authentic, explains how to order something from their catalog and what everything in the catalog was. This was an actual representation of a Sears, Roebuck catalog with the items that the Sears Company sold. It gave me additional information on the types of things people liked to buy during the 1927 and how people became similar in the items they bought.
Sears Roebuck Catalogues of the 1930s. New York: Nostalgia, 1978. This was an actual Sears catalog from the 1930s, it had the merchandise that was sold at that time and the low prices for them. It helped me get an idea of how the catalogs looked and the types of things that were sold in it
