So the lecturing begins.

"You two girls have been at each others throat for the last year.What happen to my daughters?...

I was about to speak but then

"Dont you dare open your mouth Amanda.

See!This is my point you guys have to make a comment about everything.I really dont know what
happen,are you guys hiding something from me and your mom?"

I look at Aly,she took a long gulp.

As for I,I really didn't have anything to hide.

"Alyson?"

"Yes dad?"

"Whats gotten into you? Like AJ said you been coming home later than usual and you just have
been rude lately."

"Dad I dont know."

She looks at me and tears start poring out and she runs out.

Crap,now my eyes are getting watery.

I really didn't want hurt her,I;m just feeling so stressed lately.

I just blow off steem from joking around.

"Oh boy" My father says while rubbing his forehead.

"Amanda,go talk to your sister please."

"I don't think that's the best thing to do right now."

"Please,Amanda."

"Okay dad."

I head off upstairs but my mother stops me mid way.

"Honey,let her cool off for a bit."

"That's what I told dad."

Stubborn man."

I just smile.

That is very true.

I head up to my room, and I hear Aly crying hysterically.

but I hear her talking,maybe to herself.

I lean closer to the door,just so her voice can be audible.

You know I want to know if shes planning a way to kill me or something.

Hey when Aly is an emotional wreck,she can do anything.

Finally I hear something.

"Raviv,I dont know,I been hiding us for many months now and it's just getting to me."

There's a pregnant pause.

Raviv? I love that guy

Why is she hiding him from the family.

We like him.

I lean again.

"No Raviv I dont want to break up,I wouldn't at all,just I think we should stop seeing each other for
a little bit until I come clean about this."

She starts sobbing.

Damn,I feel so bad for Aly.

But why?

I dont get this,we are allowed to date.

Why she is hiding her relationship?

Maybe I gotta talk to her about this.

But maybe se still not ready to talk.

Forget that shit.

I grab a hold of the doorknob...

Wait she is still talking to him.

I let go of my clutch around the knob,which

makes a loud "bing" noise.

Oh snap,I think she heard the noise of it.

I hear saying to the phone "I'll call you back."

Bam! the door flies open.

Of course it startles the crap out of me.

"Well this is not my room,sorry."

I go away swiftly.

"Not so fast,you get back here missy."

I take a huge gulp.

I turn around and trudge back to her door.

"Aly,I apologize but come on,you use to tell me everything why did you stop."

Aly crosses her arms but looks away with tears forming at the corner of her eyes.

"Aly,its okay.I just..."

Now she starts pouring tears out.

She moves away from the door,letting me come in her room.

I sit at the edge of her bed and she sits right in front of me.

I wait a little bit till her crying comes to a yield.

Finally she is ready to talk.

"I'm the one who should have said sorry back there.
AJ my life has been a mess for this past year."

"What? Its practically normal,more frequent fights between you and I but other than that I guess
everything is normal."

"AJ when is the last time we really had a good deep convo?"

"Ummm a month ago?"

"Ha,think again!"

"Okay,3 months ago? I really dont know."

"Let's try 8 months."

"What? are you kidding me?"

"I wish,we drifted AJ.I know we haven't worked in the studio in a while and I just finished "Band
Slam" and that sort of took away time for us.But you haven't even talked about your new
relationship with me or anything,like before you always tell me everything about Sheckler and
Joe,but now it's like I feel left out."

"Hold on a minute,I'm not the only one who hasn't shared anything you haven't either.You been
keeping all these feeling in and became an emotional wreck,you didn't even tell me about your
new guy.I mean come on Aly,I'm open arms here.Yeah I did feel a little distant since our projects
haven't been together anymore but I'm still living in the same house as you.Come on, when you
did Phil of the Future we were closer than ever and I wasn't even in that show.Aly what's up?"

"Truth?"
"Yes most definitely the truth,spit it."

"I'm in love and I don't know how to handle it. And I know Mom and Dad wouldn't accept him."

"Why don't you think they won't accept Raviv,they knew him for about 3 to 4 years now."

"I know, I just...Wait How did you know its Raviv?"

"Umm good guesser."

"You heard eh?"

"A tad bit I just wanted to know if you were alright."

"Theres the AJ I know."

"I never really left."

"Well no,but you have gotten more sarcastic."

"I guess,I just trying to lighten the mood in this household."

For the first time in months my sister and I have reconnected.

We laugh,we even cried that whole morning.

She spilled everything about her and Raviv and how my parents are against them dating since
finding about his drug and alcohol abuse he had like 2 years ago.My parents wouldn't face him
even after he went into some sort of rehab but Aly. has been in love with this kid since 3 years
ago.But they came back in contact last year when at a event and thats when they saw each other
and started off with small talk but led up to rekindling their flame from 3 years ago,thats when Aly
found out Raviv always was attracted to her the second year of "Phil of the Future" just didnt think
it was the right moment to say anything.But now here they are two crazy kids in love,who would
have known.

"But wait,didnt he have that girlfriend Rachael?"

"Yeah,but it was more of those on and off relationship,it was those kind of frat meets college girl."

"I see the party relationship."

"Yeah,I guess so. He said he thought he was in love but it was more lust.Which is why he knew it
wouldn't end well so they decided to stop seeing each other.But Oh man this guy has changed I
mean he was fine like 4 years ago but I mean he's just so more open and romantic but he still has
is little boy streak to him."

"Haha,thats Raviv.I'm glad Aly,but maybe you should confront to Mom and Dad about him before
this awesome thing you guys have going on is gonna corrupt."

"I think it already went corrupt? I think you heard on the phone."

"Well I just heard you saying you wanted a break until you come clean about everything."
"Yeah,well on his line of the phone he was going ballistic saying He couldn't believe I was saying
that,he said he would stick with me even if I dont tell them for 5 years."

"Oh my gosh Aly,he is in love with you."

"I know."

She puts her head in shame and leans over to my chest and just cries.

I brush her hair out her face and keep whispering "Its gonna be okay".

She stops crying and looks at me.

"At least Jay (I don't know AJ's new boyfriends name) is accepted by Mom and Dad,they love him
to death."

My face drops.

"Yeah" I whisper.

"What's up AJ?"

I turn my face towards the window so she dosen't see the emotions running across my face.

I know I didn't mention about Jay yet.

Well I guess now it's the time.

But he seemed really nice and cute so I took a chance and we

further the talking to texting and then late night calls and

he finally started taking me on dates and then bam! we were an

item.

I know boring -_-.

I even dozed off on telling this story.

Aly is now screaming my name,I snap back to reality.

"Yo."

"Yeah AJ you blanked out big time."

"Yeah sorry,just seeing a way how I can answer your question."

"Hmm...and what did you come up with?"

"Well all I know is I want to break up with Jay."

Now I am walking in a fast pace into my room.

While Aly follows behind.

"AJ,why? He's awesome."

I turn around.

"See Aly,this is why I didn't open up,it's like everyone is captured by Jay,it's like what about me?
I'm not happy anymore."

This is when I start bursting out in tears.

Oh gosh,I haven't done this since 2005.

"AJ,I'm sorry.You just gotta explain,you can't leave me puzzled."

I try to calm down.

When I finally do,I spilled.

"I know you think Jay is awesome he really is but I'm not happy with him,I just can't see me
marrying him I cant see us having kids.I can't see a future."

"Wow,but did you fall in love with him?"

"No I haven't and I don't think I ever will,I know you might say give it time but I have already.He's
a great guy but I don't want to be unhappy anymore and then push him away coldly and then he
just stops talking to me and I don;t want to lose him,hes a great friend.I just don't know what to do
anymore?"

"This is what you been keeping in?"

"Part of it."

"Wow,we got some talking to do."

"Yeah I know but can we after I think Jay may have called my cell about a dozen times already.I'll
meet him up for lunch."

"AJ,I think you already know what to do."

"Break up,right?"

"In the road you're going on,yes.Before things get worse."

"Yeah,well tell Mom and Dad that everything is fine and that I'm gonna meet Jay at The Grill."

"Sure and you?"

"Yes."

"I love you too death."

"Ha,I love you to death times 10."

I enter my room and grab my cellphone.

Yeah,I have the G2,sometimes it does annoy me.

And wasn't I right about 10 calls from Jay and a call from Demi?

Didn't she just leave like...

I look at the time its like 2 in the afternoon.

Crap.

I call Jay up.

He picks up after 3 rings,amazing huh?

"Hey babe."

"Ugh,Hey Jay."
"I called you all this morning,wanted to see if you wanted to get a bite this afternoon before I head
out to my first tennis practice."

"Oh yeah that's right,tennis practice today."

"Yeah that is at 5.So want me to go by and pick you up and go to your favorite restaurant."

He thinks The Grill is my favorite restaurant since he took me there on our first date and I wanted
to impress and say I love it but really Olive Garden is the best but ever since I said that its always
the freakin The Grill.

"Yeah sure,Ill go shower quick pick me up at 3?"

"Sure thing,babe...You know I missed you since I didn't see you this weekend."

"Ah,yeah that's right,it's nice you missed me,I was just talking about you."

You see how I bend the truth so it looks like I actually care for him as a girlfriend.

"Oh good or bad?"

"Haha think about that"

"I'm thinking good."

I just giggle.

"Well I'm gonna stop by my house since I'm at Bobby's(his best friend) right now and pick up my
equipment so I can just drop you off after lunch and go to tennis practice.Sounds fine?"

"Hey,it's your plans.haha."

"Touche,well sew you in a few babe.Bye beautiful."

"Bye."

See what I mean?

It's like so dead when we talk,no sparks.no excitement.Just blah.

I run to Aly's room to see if my parents are okay with me leaving with Jay.

Of course they will be but just in case.

She's now flipping a magazine on her bed.

"Hey,Al's are they cool with it?"

"Yup,why wouldn't they be?"

"So what did they say about the little breakdown that went on?"

"They said it's just probably an off day and we can talk abou anything with them."

"Ugh,stupid same lines."

"Tell me about it."

"Well I'm gonna use your shower now,Oh by the way call Demi for me on my cell.She called like
not to long ago,see what up?"

I throw my cell onto the bed.

"Yeah I will."

"Hey after call Raviv back and say your deeply in love with him and that you would'nt trade him
for anybody,and your soon gonna come clean."

"I dont know about the last part."

"Just do it."

She laughs and throws my towel at me.

I slip off my clothes once I'm in the bathroom.

I turn the water to hot,I need it right now.

I jump in.

This is gonna be one long heck of a day.
