Academic Project Details

Coin Based Cell Phone Battery Charger and Mobile Top-up Unit

Description:
In this project, we used “Two Coin Box” mechanism one is for cell phone battery
charging and another for top-up unit. For cell phone battery charging unit one-rupee coin
box mechanism is used, minutes can be extended as per the coin inserted. For mobile top-
up unit, we have implemented five-rupee coin box mechanism, two five rupee coins will
be inserted one by one.

Other Projects

Mobile Simulation
Description:
In this project Nokia-1100 mobile has been taken as reference and some
important features like Message, Call register, Contacts and Extras have been
implemented using OOPS concepts.
Language – C++ ; Environment - Linux.

UNIX Shell Creation


Description:
The objective of this project is to create a UNIX shell which could take one
input from command line argument create a new process execute it using system calls
and eventually displays the output in the shell.
Language - C ; Environment - Linux.

RTC(Real Time Clock)


Description:
The objective of this project is to display the hours, minutes, seconds, day,
date, month & year in LCD from DS1307 device using I2c protocol.
Language - Embedded C; Environment - Keil Micro Vision.

Chat Application(Asynchronous)
Description:
The main deal of this Project is to develop a concurrent Server, which can handle
multiple clients at a time. Every time when a client requests for a connection the server
will accept its request and hence-forth creates a child process to establish communication
with that client and in the mean time the parent process will wait for another client’s
connection request.
Language – C ; Environment - Linux (Sockets, Pipes, Message Queues, Shared Memory,
Threads).
