Day 04: Coorg


After a delicious breakfast, set out to visit Talacauvery, famed as the region with the source of River Cauvery. Later check out the magnicent Abbey Falls which is located near Madikeri. The main attraction of Madikeri, Abbey Falls is a breathtaking waterfall where the Cauvery river cascades down a rockface from a height of 70 feet. In the evening, enjoy a spectacular view of the sunset from the Rajas seat, literally meaning seat of the King. Overnight at the resort.

Lake, the perennial fresh water lake, nestled among wooded hills, is one-of-its-kind in Kerala. Special attraction for tourists is the fresh water aquarium and boating. Make your way to the spectacular Soochipura Waterfalls. A real treasure of nature, these waterfalls descend from a height of over 300 ft. and will leave you speechless. Return to the hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 06: Wayanad - Mysore


Check out of the Wayanad hotel and drive back to Mysore for your onward journey.

Day 03: Coorg


After breakfast, you will head to Dubare, a world renowned Elephant Camp. Get up close and personal with these magnicent beasts as you mingle with some of worlds most groomed and tamed elephants. As a part of the experience, you can also bathe the elephants and feed them with your very own hands. Later visit the Golden temple, a Tibetan monastery at Bylakuppe. Home to over 6000 monks, it will almost immediately make you feel like youre in Tibet. Pay homage to the Buddha and later shop for collectibles at the Tibetan stores. Visit Nisargadhama, the man-made island in the hub of the river Kaveri connected by a rope bridge. There is a deer park within Nisargadhama. One can also enjoy an elephant ride at this place. Return to the resort for an overnight stay.

Day 05: Coorg - Wayanad


After breakfast, check out of the resort and proceed to Wayanad which would take approx 3 hours. On arrival at Wayanad, check into your pre-booked hotel. Head out on a sightseeing tour of Wayanad. Visit the Pookot

Arrive at the Mysore railway station and transfer to your pre-booked hotel. Proceed to visit St. Philomenas church, an imposing Gothic structure with beautiful stained glass windows and lofty towers. Constructed in 1936 using a Neo Gothic Style, its architecture was inspired by the Cologne Cathedral in Germany. In the evening, visit the world famous Brindavan Garden - the Krishna Raja Sagar Dam after sundown, with musical fountains and coloured lights that transform this place into a magical fairyland. Day 05: Thekkady (Cycling Tour)


After breakfast, go for a cycle tour around the Anaerangal Lake. Youll ride along wonderful mountain roads to reach Nedungandom by lunchtime. En route, the ride passes through thick forests, cardamom estates and spice gardens that have made these hills world famous. Here you can either relax or explore the jungle. Periyar is one of the best wildlife reserves in India and has large herds of Asiatic elephants, Indian bison and tigers. For ornithologists it has over 330 species of birds including the majestic Great Hornbill. You also have a chance to meet some of the locals and see their fascinating lifestyles.

The cycling tour will last approximately 4 hours covering a distance of 30 kms. Return to the resort for the overnight stay.

Located about 20km away from Munnar, Rhodo Valley Drive is the rst point on the trekking route. The route then passes through Shola forests and grasslands. It then ascends Meesapullimala, the second highest peak in South India. The area is rich in wildlife, and you might spot elephants, sambar, sloth bear and the Nilgiri Thar, the endemic and endangered mountain goat. After you return from the trek, stay overnight at the resort.

A very popular tourist attraction in Munnar, Tata Tea Museum is located about 12 km from Munnar in Nallathanni Estate of Tata Tea. The museum showcases various antiquities including a burial urn dating back to the 2nd century excavated from the vicinity of Periakanal Estate. Also displayed in the museum are curious old photographs and machinery. Tourists can catch a glimpse into the history and culture of the region through a video presentation. Further ahead, about 35 km away from Munnar on a steep ridge above the scorching plains of Tamil Nadu, theres the Kolukkumalai tea estate. Altitude-wise, this is the highest tea estate located approximately 8000 feet above sea level and takes 90 minutes from Munnar to reach here.
