FIRE DOOR SPECIFICATION GENERAL CONSTRUCTION Fire rated wooden doors shutters are made of two non-combustible boards

sandwiching high-grade proprietary insulation material and intumescent compounds with teak wood edging all around the shutter. An intumescent fire sealing smoke strip is incorporated in the edging of shutters and in frames on all sides except bottom. These are faced with commercial/teak plywood to provide aesthetic finish. Both single leaf and double leaf doors in all sizes are available. We recommend the use of VIPER FR-880 fire retardant primer and VIPER FRS -881 as the finishing fire retardant Enamel paint for the door, which makes the surface of the fire doors flame proof. The frame being suitable for mounting 30 minutes fire resistant shutters, with one coat of anti-termite fire retardant primer. Providing and fixing of non-metallic, 45mm thick, asbestos free, FULLY INSULATED composite Fire & Smoke check shutters of 30 minutes fire resistance rating confirming to BS: 476 part-22, IS: 3614 part II, as per prototype tested & Certified at CBRI Roorkee, duly approved by TAC (Traffic Advisory Committee) suitable for mounting on door frames as per item no.1. It comprises of two non combustible boards each 12 mm thick, sandwiching 20 mm thick Fire Resistant Filler, faced with 3mm commercial ply facing on both faces and teakwood lipping all around the shutters with heat activated Intumescent Fire Seal strip of size 12 mm * 4mm mounted in the grooves in the shutter on all sides except bottom with hinges and one coat of Anti-termite fire retardant primer. -- SINGLE LEAF -- D Rs.
