Major Findings Based on the data gathered, the following major findings were revealed: 1. Majority of the hinterland public elementary school teachers were above 40 years old; most of their teachers 63 or (50.00%) were bachelors degree holders; 20 or (15.87) were masters degree holders. In terms of number of years of teaching, many teachers 54 or (42.86%) belong to 10 years and above; 87 of them or (69.05%0 had a distance from residence to station of 9 km and above. For position title 59 or (46.83%) were teacher I with social competencies of 4.18 or often as the highest. 2. Hinterland public elementary school administrators were rated only proficient by their teachers in the professional obligations with a weighted mean 3.04. On the other hand, the supervisory proficiency was rated fair with a weighted mean of 2.47. 3. Hinterland public elementary school teachers were satisfied in their job in terms of relationships with the highest weighted mean of 3.27 interpreted as satisfied.. 4. There is no significant relationship between the teachers profile and their administrators proficiency. 5. There is no significant relationship between profile of the teachers and their job satisfaction. 6. There is no significant relationship between administrators proficiency and the teachers job satisfaction .

Conclusions In the light of the findings, the following conclusions were drawn: 1. The typical hinterland public elementary schools teachers are 40 years old, bachelors degree holders with 10 years teaching experiences, living 9 kms. away from their home, with position as Teacher I and socially competent. 2. Administrators Proficiency focused more on Professional Obligations rated as proficient but only fair in supervisory proficiency. 3. Hinterland public elementary school teachers were satisfied in their job most especially in terms of work relationships. 4. There is no significant relationship between profile of the teachers and their administrators proficiency and job satisfaction . 5. There is no significant relationship between their administrators proficiency and job satisfaction of the teachers.

Recommendations In view of the findings and conclusions of the study the following recommendations were drawn; 1. The school administrators should improve their supervisory proficiency because this is one of the most important functions that they have it was only rated as satisfactory. 2. It is very revealing that the teachers in the hinterlands have specifically viewed that they are less satisfied with general working conditions, Hence,

the school authorities should study the possibility of flexible time and benefits such as vacation/sick leave with pay. 3. The teachers should also look into the opportunity of exerting more effort to be very exceptional in their job to merit a promotion. It is hard work and showing of distinctive abilities that will give their opportunity for promotion .
