http://wireilla.com/biology/ijcbic/index.html Scope & Topics The International Journal of Computational Biology, Informatics and Control (IJCBIC) is a bi-monthly open access journal that publishes articles which contribute new results in all areas of Computational Biology, Informatics and Control. With the advances of Information Technology, Computer Science and Control Engineering, research in computational biology promotes medical research, drug design and applications. Also, emerging computational, statistical and biomedical approaches are very useful in several applied areas of Science and Engineering. Control methods are very useful in several applied areas like Chaos, Automation, Communication, Robotics, Power Systems, and Biomedical Instrumentation. The journal focuses on all technical and practical aspects of Computational Biology, Informatics and Control Engineering. The goal of this journal is to bring together researchers and practitioners from academia and industry to focus on modelling concepts, computer simulation, bioinformatics, biomedical and quantitative approaches, control methods and establishing new collaborations in these areas. Authors are solicited to contribute to this journal by submitting articles that illustrate research results, projects, surveying works and industrial experiences that describe significant advances in Computational Biology, Bioinformatics and Control Theory. Topics of interest include, but are not limited to, the following: Adaptive control Agriculture, environment, health applications Algorithms, modelling and simulation of biosets Applications of modelling in science and engineering Biodata visualisation Biodatabases and data mining Bio-grid Bioinformatics engineering Biological modelling Biological systems and models Biomedical data engineering Biomedical image processing (segmentation, registration, fusion) Biomedical modeling and computer simulation Biomolecular and phylogenetic databases Biomolecular dynamics Bio-ontology and data mining Body and cell biosignatures Cellular signalling and communications Chaos Theory Computational genomics, Intelligence, proteomics, structural biology Computer modelling Control theory Data visualization Digital control DNA assembly, clustering, and mapping Drug design and drug discovery E-health Embedded systems Engineering models in biomedicine Fault detection and isolation Feedback control Functional genomics Fuzzy logic Gene expression analysis Gene ontology Genetic algorithms
