Activity 1 Informing: Stick Handling They will stick handle with the ball and stick out in front of them to the cone across from them, go around it, then come back and leave the ball for the next person in line to do the same and go to the end of the line. in their groups of three for the informing of the next activity and for the performance of the next activity. Activity 2 Informing: Passing When passing you keep your hands in the same spots as stick handling and push the ball towards your target (T demonstrate) Follow through by flicking wrists but make sure to keep the stick below the waste. Also make sure not to flick wrists too much so that the ball stays on the ground. When receiving a pass get the stick in front of the ball and have soft hands and give with it so that the ball doesnt bounce off of it. Ss will now stick handle to the cone like they did before but after they go around the cone they will pass it to the next person in line and go to the end of the line. This will go on for three minutes. Extension: Harder: Go faster Easier: Go slower Transition: The first student in each line from the groups of x = cone

This will go one for 45 seconds at a time with 15 seconds of rest in between and it will be done three times. Transition: Ss will stay in their group of five in their square of cones for instruction. Activity 4 Informing: 3 on 2s Ss will be in groups of 5 inside their squares. There will be 3 offensive players on the outside at the cones and 2 defensive players in the middle. This will happen for 6 minutes. 37:30-38:30 Extension: The offensive min players can move from cone to cone to get open. Transition: During the previous activity half the students will be given pinnies and half the students wont. This makes two teams. Each team will make three lines on the goal-line extended (T will show 38:30-52:30 what that is and what it should look like) and wait for instruction x Activity 5: Fastbreaks To Ss start out playing defense on one side while the the first people in each line on the other side come down after getting an outlet from the goalie. T will walk through this with Ss so they have a better understanding. This will go on for 10 minutes. Transition: Ss will get back into their groups of five that they were in before and each group will be a team number (1,2,3) Each team is given a different color pinnie.
