The True Meaning of Christmas

What is the true spiritual or religious significance of Christmas? Should more spiritual emphasis be placed on the birth of the saviour in contrast to the death and resurrection of Christ celebrated during Easter? Did Christ die to redeem our sins? Are we saved simply because Christ died on the cross? Why did the Three Wise Men attend the birth but not the death of Christ? The question remains as to who is saved? Is it the human persona? Is there an immortalisation of the deceased worldly being? Why did not Jesus preach that he came to die so that we can live; that he came to redeem our sins? Did he not say that we have to carry our own cross; that we have to follow him? did he not say that we will have to reap what we sow? So why would he in contradiction redeem our sins? What is the significance and meaning of Emmanuel - God is with us? If jesus said that he will be be with us always till the end of time, why do we have to wait till judgement day to be with him? The Ultimate Truth is revealed!

Christmas Mass 2013

Say, It has been a busy Christmas 2013. Yesterday morning Annie had to go for rehearsal as she had to play guitar at last night's mass. Christmas Eve night is indeed a very holy night where we should be in awe in silence and calm contemplation of Jesus the Christ who saved us from exile in the darkness of human mortality to be able to return to our eternal brightness as a spirit son of God being. The night that Christ Jesus was born in Bethlehem is therefore the holiest night of all nights ever on Earth! In this discourse I shall reveal the ultimate truth about Jesus Christ. It is critical and essential that we as Christians appreciate the true significance of the birth of Jesus. His birth was prophesied by Isaiah. Read the beginning of Matthew. Jesus's name was Emmanuel, which means 'God is with us'. Ponder on the significance of this fact of 'God is with us' and you will understand the status of Jesus as the 2nd Adam, why he had to reincarnate in the 'flesh' and yet not be born from the sin or urge of the flesh, for this was the way that the Original Sin of the 1st Adam could be redeemed. Take time to ponder that only the 1st Adam and Eve (a clone of the 1st Adam, metaphorically 'from his rib') and Jesus, the 2nd Adam were not born from the sin of the flesh! All the other descendants from Adam & Eve were and are born from the urge of the flesh! The 2nd Adam Christ Jesus came to redeem the Original Sin and not our worldly sins. I repeat, Jesus did not redeem our worldly sins. Please do not think like that for that would provide a carte blanche for sin and make salvation a lazy walk in the park. With regards to our worldly sins as worldly beings, we have to reap what we sow as Jesus had expounded. Otherwise, there will be no end to the perpetual cycle of sins that we perpetrate, voluntarily or involuntarily, as mere vulnerable mortals caught up in the web of deceit of Satan in Sin City, and his temptation of the flesh and senses. Remember that Jesus instructed us to carry our cross and follow him. He did not say that we need do nothing but just sign up and label ourselves as Christians and that he will carry the cross of our and redeem our sins. The cross that Jesus had to carry up Calvary Hill was the cross of the Original Sin of the 1st Adam, not our worldly crosses! When we say, behold the lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world, the emphasis is on the word 'world', as representing the darkness of mortal existence rather than the worldly sins of worldly beings which fall within the immutable law of you will reap what you sow. The redemption of our Original Sin (as sons of Adam) means we are no longer 'dead' in the spirit, dead as in our souls being embedded in existence in worldly son of man, from one reincarnation or rebirth after another as 'angels' going up and down Jacob's Ladder (Genesis 28:12 and John1:51). Isaiah 9:1 described us as people who walked and lived in darkness. The 1st Adam and, derivatively, Eve as well, were eternal spirits. They were exiled into existence as mortal worldly beings and thus faced death as Man. We as sons of Adam, as sons of man, were spiritually 'dead' as mortal beings. But the 2nd Adam, Jesus the Christ, has now given back to us eternal life, for we are all now 'reborn' as spirit sons of God, reverting back to our inheritance as the eternal spirit of Adam before the Fall, before the Original Sin, before the tasting of the Tree of Knowledge, before his acquiring of an ego, of an idol, before God the Spirit Father. 'God is with us' means exactly that, that is Jesus is within us and outside us, that we are all in Holy Trinity. We are all joint and several, Father and Son and sons in the Holy Spirit! Because we are all eternal in the spirit, this means that Jesus was with us before the beginning of worldly time and when he was born incarnate as man, and later when he died, and later when he was raised again. For the eternal and eternity cannot die and knows nothing of death. In eternal spirit terms time is an unknown word! Thus when you get to the end of Gospel of Matthew, Jesus said that he shall

always be with us till the end of time. This is what is meant by Jesus being the Alpha (the 1st letter in the Greek alphabet) and the Omega ( the last letter in the Greek alphabet). Failure to understand and appreciate the difference between temporal worldly life time as against eternal life time would present a mental block to our transcending to spiritual wisdom and spiritual salvation. We would fail to understand the profundity of the Holy Trinity of the spirit, that we in the spirit are one and many and many in one with one another and with God, the Spirit Father; that thereby there is no unique individual entity or persona, as in our worldly self; that there is no 'marriage' in heaven, that there are no 'husbands' or 'wives' or 'fathers' and 'mothers' or 'brothers' and 'sisters', that there is no 'you' or 'me', no Say Chuan or Hong Chuan! There is no 'Ego' in Heaven! Our worldly beings and existences in many reincarnations or rebirths, reaping and sowing from our worldly deeds and endeavours or sins and transgressions and thus going up and down Jacob's Ladder, are of no direct concern and irrelevant to the spiritual equation of spiritual salvation and resurrection. Spiritual salvation and resurrection is all about our lost 'souls' and their resurrection back to eternal life as eternal spirit sons of God. It is all about extricating the Lost Prodigal Son from Sin City. It is about resurrecting the 'sheep' lost in the mistaken belief that it has the persona of a 'goat'; so that the sheep can hear the Good Shepherd's voice! Judgement Day has nothing to do with the worldly dead. Otherwise it would make nonsense of the biblical 'ashes to ashes' refrain. For "all human beings are dust and ashes" (Sirach 17:32). Judgement Day is about the lost souls, the 'angels' going up and down Jacob's Ladder whether they are still 'goats' or whether like the Lost Prodigal Son, have turned their back to Sin City' and become 'sheep' again, have been baptised by water (cleanse themselves of their worldly ego and persona) and baptised by the Holy Spirit (awakened to their true being as an eternal spirit son of God). If you fail to understand what spiritual salvation is all about and still cling on to the salvation of a Hong Chuan or a Say Chuan going to Heaven, can you imagine the billions of worldly dead since Genesis arising from lost graves and lost ashes on Judgement Day! Even Heaven would fall under all that human weight of resurrected domestic quarrels and racial strife! We say judgement or Judgement Day as a metaphor; but time has no meaning in Heaven. Worldly beings do not exist nor have any meaning in Heaven. We say we hope to go to Heaven but we do not go to Heaven. Who or what goes to Heaven are not the worldly 'we'! The Spirit Father is only looking for his lost spirit son! There is only one Son! We are one in many and many in one! There is only one Adam! There has only been one and only son - Adam: 1st Adam, 2nd Adam (Jesus) and the Adam(Jesus), in all of us; not the Hong Chuan or Say Chuan in us, but the spirit sons of God in us. Together all the lost souls, the 'angels' going up and down Jacob's Ladder are 'one'. In reconciliation, we are all 'ONE'! God is ONE! That is why there is only one God! The WORD is God! I shall explain this later. That is why is God is within and without us! That is why God is inconceivable. But Emmanuel ('God is with us') has made God known to us. That is why Christmas Day is truly special. That is why the Three Wise Men travelled many thousands of miles to herald and pay homage. They already believed before the seeing! For on that Holy Night Grace came to us and we were no longer contained by the Law. We could play the game of 'snakes and ladders' and grace for Grace, in glorifying God, we will have a chance to get off Jacob's Ladder. Hallelujah! Be wise like the Three Wise Men. They know the greater significance of the birth of Christ Jesus, rather than the death of Christ on the Cross at Calvary Hill. The latter was only the 'proof in the pudding', much alike the later case of Doubting Thomas needing to see to believe. The simple obvious point missed by all who read literally and think with worldly mind and wisdom, is that worldly birth results in worldly death; and that it is only the eternal spirit like the metaphorical 'light' that lives on eternally. Consequently, what is 'eternal' in us that lives on, that goes back heaven, and returns home as the Lost Prodigal Son, cannot therefore be of worldly birth! Why? Read Hebrews 1:5-6 - "God never said to any angel 'You are my Son, today I have become your father' or 'I will be a father to him and he a son to me'. But when he again brings the First-born into this world, he says 'Let all the angels of God worship him' ". The 'angels' in this context are the lost souls going up and down Jacob's Ladder! It is all about 'sheep' and 'goats', whatever or despite your religion, faith or creed. God did not become your father because you as a lost soul or angel has suddenly become a Christian. Salvation is universal for all the lost children of God, all his lost

prodigal sons, all his lost sheep! All 'goats' who transform back into 'sheep' are those who 'worship' the Adam, the Jesus, the spirit son of God within them. 'Worship' does not mean worship but to follow Jesus, to be lead by him, like sheep following its Master's voice, following the call of the Good Shepherd. Jesus leads us to eternal life rather than dispenses eternal life by the fact of his dying on the cross! We have to listen to the call of Jesus, of God, of the 'sheep' within us. If we remain arrogant in our attitude that Jesus has died on the cross and thereby we are by that fact or default saved, you remain a classic case of being and remaining a 'goat'. Blessed is he who comes in the name of and follows the Good Shepherd. We follow the words of Jesus. He told us his words are 'spirit', are the 'Bread of Life' and 'Living Waters'. He did not say that his death is our life! Christmas Mass gospel reading was from John 1:1-18. Please read this again and again, as it is one of the most profound passages in the Gospels. It is very esoteric and requires spiritual wisdom and insight to realise the full glory and beauty that is God. In light of my explanatory discourse above, you will now understand what John the Baptist meant in John 1:15 - "He who comes after me ranks before me because he existed before me." Note in comparison that Jesus described John the Baptist as the prophesied 'Elijah, who is to come' (Matthew 11:14), i.e. he was Elijah reincarnated. Jesus himself said in John 8:58 - "Before Abraham was, I AM.". Similarly, as spirit sons of God, before Abraham was, we were, in the eternal past, present and future. I mentioned these cross-references to deter and defy and deny those who claim that there is no 'reincarnation' in Christian theology. The essence of salvation is the hope for redemption, that we can 'reincarnate' back to a 'sheep' from a 'goat, to an eternal spirit son of God from an exiled mortal son of man. 'Reincarnation' is no more than a fancy word for the returning home of the Lost Prodigal Son! Do not get tied down with the ordinary or conventional or worldly meaning of words or labels. Words are just words. In the spirit world of Heaven there is no need for language or words. There is in fact no need or want for anything in eternal bliss! In eternity there is no need for words. In the timelessness of eternity human words and concepts have no meaning whatsoever! In light of my explanatory discourse above, you will now also understand John 1:12 - "But to all who did accept him he gave power to become children of God, to all who believe in the name of him who was born not out of human stock or urge of the flesh or will of man but of God himself." The Eternal Spirit Father has eternal 'spirit' sons, who have no need or want of anything, not children as human beings who have to eat and shit and have sex! Be sensible! Give credit to God as to what he would create in his own image! Certainly not gluttony, shit and sex! Because the Eternal and Eternity is ungraspable and inconceivable and beyond words, that is why we simply say that 'In the beginning was the Word' (John 1:1). There is no word for the Word and that is why it is called the Word! Simple as that! Just like in mathematics. We do not know what the answer is, let us simply call it X! Just like that - in the beginning was X! Think about this! Also, just because Jesus incarnated as Son of Man to redeem the Original Sin of the 1st Adam, please do not perceive God in man's image. This is a fundamental error if not a sin. Eternal Adam as a spirit was made in the image of God, not the Adam as mortal man after the Fall, after the Original Sin, where he went the way of The Serpent. Whereas Adam went from an egoless, selfless spirit to an egoistic spirit with a self-ego, and thus having an 'idol' before God and became a mortal man, and we as sons of Adam, sons of man, inherited this living in 'death'; Jesus the 2nd Adam came to resurrect us back to our egoless selfless spirit sons of God self and thus reverting us back to eternal life. God is inconceivable in human terms. As a poor analogy, as pitiful mindless humans, we can try to see God as pure light of omnipotent selfless egoless consciousness or Spirit Consciousness. The moment self-consciousness and selfishness arise there is an affliction of ego, and we become vain mortal man again, and thus the Original Sin of Adam, Worldly Consciousness. Thus in the Book of Wisdom or Ecclesiastes, the cry of anguish - 'Vanity of vanities! All is vanity.' Understanding the difference between spiritual and worldly consciousness will help you understand the 2nd reading at Midnight Mass from Titus 2:11-14.

Previously, before our spirit was redeemed from permanent exile in mortal death of our soul going up and down Jacob's Ladder, we were subject to the Law; but with the advent or birth of our Lord Christ Jesus, we are now entitled to grace for grace, i.e. when and should we return home as the repentant Lost Prodigal Son, our Spirit Father will reconcile with us with open arms. "Indeed, from his fullness we have, all of us, received - yes, grace in return for grace, since, though the Law was given through Moses, grace and truth have come through Jesus Christ." (John 1:16-17). Yes, the truth is that we are not of this world and the amazing grace will set us free to eternal life and perpetual bliss in Heaven with the Spirit Father. Glory to God the highest. Proclaim the glory, grace and truth of God. He has given us back his only son Adam, Jesus, the eternal spirit in us. Chuan 25/12/13
