KLONDIKE ROAD

Those attending the public meeting on Klondike Road had varying positions on how to make it safer for pedestrians and cyclists until the road is reconstructed with sidewalks. Constructing it to an urban road requires an environmental study (due to the creek) road design and construction. !unds have been provided in "#$% to do the design and the "#$& budget will have construction funds so will be about " years before a permanent solution is implemented. Kanata Theatre(s annual children(s play this year is a lot of fun. )*o +ikings, is about $# year old -mma who picks )-ric the Red, as the topic for her school pro.ect. This stage adaption of /yron 0chachner(s beloved story with catchy and upbeat music stirs and inspires the imagination of all. 1erformances are at $ and % pm on 2ec. "3 4 "56 3 pm on 2ec. ?ast weekend local youth met to discuss how they would like to see the youth room in the Richcraft Recreation Comple; Kanata (RRCK) used for youth activities. !rom the participants a youth cabinet has been established to implement those ideas and

continue to involve youth in the programming.
