“Lignite Feeder Conveyor Speed Control System Of Thermal Power
Station –I Expansion”, (NEYVELI LIGNITE CORPORATION)
DESCRIPTION:
The objective of our project is to control the speed of lignite feeder conveyor. Feeder conveyor
carries lignite. During winter season the content of water is more in lignite .And due to the moisture
and contaminations the generation output get affected. Due to this moisture the amount of lignite
required is more. So Speed of the conveyor should be controlled. In this project we are going to
control the speed of lignite feeder conveyor by V/F method. Feeder conveyor speed can be varied
by using PIC microcontroller. PIC microcontroller is used to minimize the cost and space.
DIPLOMA PROJECT
Power Consumption Monitoring Using IVR (Interactive Voice Response).
DESCRIPTION:
This project power consumption monitoring using interactive voice response is developed
using 89C51 microcontroller, which is useful and essential one for measurement of energy meter
reading, to display the corresponding charge for the usage of power and to hear the measurement of
power through telephone line. By this system we can detect the power units. Here the BCD
numbers are assigned to appropriate conditions.
