This welding class is suita"le for people re+uiring the knowledge and skills to work or seek employment as a Gas Tungsten Arc elder (GTA ! in a metal fa"rication or allied engineering industry# The welding training you will recei)e will help you to ac+uire the practical skills and techni+ues associated with the GTA process to &oin ferrous (steel! and non%ferrous material in all weld positions( heat( cut and gouge materials( interpret engineering drawings and use a )ariety of hand and power tools$e+uipment to fa"ricate metal components# St George TAFE welding classes will help you learn to weld and are designed to accommodate "oth off%the%&o" training and on%the%&o" training and e'periences# .ompletion of welding courses will lea)e you eligi"le to enroll in other courses in the Metal and Engineering Training /ackage MEM01( including MIG welding
