(mal bl npis na barevnm podkladu) Characterized by the small white inscription POTA in the colored top panel with ESKO and SLOVENSK in each of the colored side panels. Hradany stamps lack a currency indicator because, at the time of their initial printing, Czechoslovakia had no national currency. The 25 value in ultramarine was sold entirely to the Czechoslovakian Philatelic Society of Prague and may appear with a special cancel.

The Nchod Discovery - Nchodsk nlez
September 2002 Before the discovery of the Nchod Gutters, the literature reported only six examples of this unidirectional gutter, each folded, and each taken from the same source sheet. The Nchod Gutters, a uniquely unfolded set, were taken from a previously unknown source sheet. The Czechoslovak Specialist reported their discovery and description in the November/December 2002 and May/June 2003 issues. The hand-stamped black PORTO, flanked on either end by a silhouetted star, spuriously marks them for provisional postage-due use. The back-dated February 1919 postmark predates their reported May 1919 printing and represents a cancelling device not put into service until January 1920. Czech experts have preliminarily authenticated the dies, ink, paper and gum, but have not yet issued certification. The mint pair, from the left side of the sheet, bears the plate identifier (control number --50 without a decimal) and shows Stamp 91 from Plate II over Stamp 1 from Plate I. The cancelled pair, from the eighth of ten columns on the sheet, retains its gum and shows Stamp 98 from Plate II over Stamp 8 from Plate 1.

Of dubuious origin, but apparently a strike in the pattern for the first design. Imperforate and closely-clipped, with a blank value tablet and using a crisp color not native to this issue. Although bearing the signature of GEORG BHLER identifying the piece as an essay, it is more likely the work of an individual in support of Hradany studies.
