Create a variety of logos to fit a company or personal image. Use the basic tools in Illstrator.

Process:

For this project I used adobe Illustrator. I started out creating the basic shape for the apple. I then added text. For the second logo I stared out with rectangles which I then added curves to, to make it seem like an apple. For the third logo I had the text and used the l as the stem of the apple so that the text and the shape became one.

Objective:

Learn basic photography skills. Use a digital camera to take a quality image, then download it. Size and crop the image. Adjust image brightness, contrast, hue and saturation levels. Use a selection tool to isolate a portion of the image. Desaturate the selected portion of the image. Use a filter or coloize a portion of the image.

Process:

I took this picture. Took it into Photoshop and then began to inhance and make it look the way that I wanted it to.

Montage

An insperational montage made by the blending of two or more images, and the use of typography.

Learn to mange Photoshop layers. Learn to blend images together smoothly, using masks. Use filters. Apply appropriate typography.

Process:

I cropped the background image to the correct size. I then brought in the other images, cropped them and then placed them where I wanted them. I added masked to the images and blended them using the brush tool. I added the typography and placed the words where I wanted them. I lined them up along the line to represent players lining up. I then added filters to one of the images to bring contrast into the image.

Set up and align a two-sided, folded document. Learn how to wrap text around an image. Use paragraph styles in InDesign.

Process:

I set up a tri-fold in Indesign. I created the logo in Illustrator and used images from the web for my design. I used Photoshop to clip an image that I found. I also texted wrapped that image on my brochure. I tried to do different things for my design to change it up from things that I have done in the past.

Program(s)/Tools: Objective: Apply the design principles and use appropriate typography. Incorporate basic InDesign skills to improve basic flier layout. Create a project folder with image, logo and InDesign document to keep links intact. Process:
While making my project I used InDesign. In this program I used different tools and skills. I used the line tool to make different lines. I also used the rectangle tool to make different shapes in my design. Also while making my design I used different formatting techniques. While doing my project I used different skills that I have learned in other classes that I have taken.

Size and optimize an original logo as a .png for a web page. Write content to describe the process of creating your logo and how it appleals to a target audience. design a web page using HTML to display a logo and content. Acquire a working knowledge of HTML and basic understanding of CSS. Identify hex colors for web design. Compress multiple files in a zipped folder to attach as one file.

Process:

Making this logo was pretty simple. I started out with just your basic rectangle shapes, that I then tweaked the shape a little so that they are different sizes from each other. I then changed the color of the rectangles to be different colors of apples. I then added a rectangle to the top to be then steam of the apple, and I also added an oval shape to the side of the steam to be the leaf. I did not use any complex tools for this logo, I also used the selective tool to change the edge of the rectangles to t hat they were round on the outside edge. I kept is pretty simple for this logo.
