5C of Christian

1. God created everything, including humans, for His glory and purpose. However, all humans sin and fall short of God's standard, resulting in condemnation and death. 2. Jesus, who is fully God and fully man, died on the cross to pay the penalty for human sin and rose from the dead. His sacrifice allows humans to be saved from condemnation. 3. To receive salvation, one must have faith that Jesus is Lord and Savior by trusting in His sacrifice, and obey His commandments to love God and others through keeping His word.

CHRISTIANITY FAITH ( 5 C)

CREATION
(Rev 4:11; Gen 1:27, Jeremiah 29:11)
1. God is the Creator of everything, including you and me

Psalm 19:1 says, The heavens declare the glory of God, and the sky above proclaims his
handiwork. Gods glory is displayed in all he has made.

3. God created us to know His character: holiness, power, grace, mercy, truth, wisdom, and
justice.

4. God created humans for His glory which will result in our greatest joy. To enjoy and be
delighted in Gods design and His creation like nature, sea, animals, plants, friends and
everything that is good.
5. God has a purpose for us. To love and care for His creation
- to love God
- to love one another
- to care for his creation (animals, nature, etc)

CONDEMNED
(Romans 6:23a; Romans 5:19, Romans 1:29-32; 2 Thess 1:8-9)
1. Sin brings death, judgment and punishment
2. All man sins
Our sin has separated us from God, and the consequence of sin is death (Romans 6:23).

3. Because we fail to trust, love and live for God, we rebel against God, we are under his
righteous judgmenthis wrath. But God is a just and fair judge.
4. We have a problem!! Since the consequence of sin is death and eternal suffering in hell.

CHRIST
How then can we be saved and deliver from the anger of God and the consequence of death?
(Salvation)
The solution:

(1 Peter 3:18; 1:3, John 3:16)
1. Jesus who is fully God, came to earth as fully man.
2. Jesus died to pay the price on our behalf
3. Jesus, sinless rose from the dead He is God
3. Jesus is the only perfect and righteous sacrifice for our sins to redeem mankind.
Only a divine man (who is fully God and fully man) can die for our sins.
4. Jesus took the wrath of God away, by dying on our behalf.
CONFIDENCE (FAITH)
(John 3:18; John 1:12)

How then can we be saved? (To receive salvation)

1. Trust and have faith in Jesus, who is only true God and Saviour from our sins.
Paul says, "Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and you will be saved." He says, "If you confess
with your lips that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead you
will be saved."
Concerning faith: If you declare with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God
raised him from the dead, you will be saved. (Romans 10:9)
Comments: That means you must accept Jesus is Lord, and that comes with obedience to his
commandments.
2. Believe we will be with Jesus after our death, and that is the greatest joy and blessings. No
more pain and suffering.

3. The Bible emphasizes that faith is a gift because God deserves all of the glory for our salvation. If the
receiver of faith could do anything whatsoever to deserve or earn the gift, that person would have every
right to boast (Ephesians 2:9). But all such boasting is excluded (Romans 3:27). God wants Christians to
understand they have done nothing to earn faith because our saving faith comes from God alone.

Faith comes from hearing the message, and the message is heard through the word about Christ
(Romans 10:17). It is the Word of God that produces faith. (hearing and reading)

4. Confidence in Gods providence
Paul wrote, He who did not spare his own Son but gave him up for us all, how will he not also with him
graciously give us all things? (Romans 8:32).

COMMANDMENTS (Obedience to God)
(John 14:5, 1 John 2:36)
1. After believing in Jesus, we need to respond by obeying Gods command and to love God 2.
2. We need to love one another
3. This is love for God: to keep his commands. And Gods commands are not burdensome (1
John 5:3)
4. The Bible makes it clear that we show our love for Jesus by obeying Him in all things: If you
love Me, keep My commandments (John 14:15).
