Story Alternate Ending
Chanin Kwon 8-1
The young man looked up at the princess. They stood there intensely looking at each
other with passion and sorrow. The princess was in a tight spot. She had to decide either killing
her only love, the one she was destined for or letting him go and marry the woman she hated
from the beginning of time.
The young ones eyes told the princess how scared he was. She pitied him and she felt
great sorrow and distress. These two lovers were in great sorrow for either gate the young one
chose they wouldnt be together. Their cries of sorrow reached to the heavens above. The
heavens and the stars all wept for these two and their unfair end to their love.
The young man saw that they princess was in great distress and made up his mind. He
suddenly looked calm without a single sense of fear. He summoned all his courage and
screamed with all his might to his princess, Do not fear to lose me nor mourn the day we first
met for meeting with you wasnt a tragic mistake but a chance given by God. Do not fell hatred
for these people or this world for without them we might have never met. I do not care if in this
life were separated for I will love you always In my next life and in the life after that I will
always love you. The choice is yours but do not distress yourself with such a man like me!
The princess heard this and saw his eyes were full of passion and wept out loud, Why?
Why were we born in such families, why couldnt we have been born in a life without these two
gates that separates us when either one opens. Id rather die with you than letting anyone have
me other than you and you other than me. Jealousy has not blinded my judgment; I am willing
to do anything for you.
The young man smiled and said, Show me the door with the tiger but do not die you
must live. I am fine even if you get to love someone else I only want what is best for you. Live
live and show how we lived to these people and do your best so that the same tragedy doesnt
happen to future lovers like us This is my last wish and farewell my princess. I shall continue
loving you in the next life and the one after that I shall love you forever.
The kings hotheadedness got to him. The way his loved daughter looked at the young
one angered him beyond anything anyone could imagine and commanded to all his archers to
shoot him down.
Fire! Shoot him down! Now! commanded the king and his archers did as he
commanded.
No! Father please stop! screamed the princess but it was too late. The young man had
already been shot down with about 20 arrows directly to the heart.
Story Alternate Ending

The princess quickly got down to the arena weeping in great sorrow, the people in the
stands also wept to this heartbreaking event. The princess kneeled besides the young man
cushioning his head on her lap and stroke his hear with great gentleness. Her tears were filled
with great sadness nothing in this world could have stopped her from crying. Then the young
ones hand gently touched the princess face and said, Please do not let the same mistake
happen with future souls that have finally been reunited.
Time was running out for the young one and with his last breath he said, May the
heavens have pity on my soul for letting such a beautiful damsels soul in distress and sorrow
because of me I love you
Then the young man died. The princess wept and wept and was in great sorrow for the
rest of her life but she fulfilled his loved ones last wish to lead other souls from the same fate
as the one they faced. After 50 long years the princess died. The whole city mourned for the
two lovers who lived an unfair life.
One day in a distant future after thousands of years a man and a woman bumped into
each other in the street. The woman recognized the young man but the man looked like he
didnt know her, so when they got up and they both were about to go their own way. The
woman was sad and was disappointed that her young lover didnt keep his promise to keep on
loving her forever. She was about to leave when she heard a whisper in her ear from behind her
back saying, I will keep on loving you in the next life and the life after that. She turned
around and saw that the young man smiling at her and they embraced each other both with
tears falling from their eyes. The young one dried the young womans tears and their lips met,
then the young woman said, Remember? I shall not let anyone have you other than me.
They both smiled at each other and they left holding hands. Their story doesnt end here
and neither does yours. These twos story continued on to a happy family but thats another
story. Your story may not be as dreamy or as tragic as the one of the princess and the young
mans love life but as anyone who has truly loved someone should know that their own love
story is unique and better than any other love stories in their eyes.
