Program Notes:
The reective nature of Christmastime, coupled with the holiday atmosphere of beautiful lights, smell of
replaces, and decorations, gives Rest its life. A micro-title for God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen, this
version is in anything but the boisterous and declamatory style of the original hymn and really does allow
us to take a rest to absorb the season. (Portions paraphrased from Hazos program notes.)

Similar Pieces (Title/Composer): Most of Hazos stuff
