CURRICULAR STATEMENT
Pupil develops factual knowledge conceptual knowledge procedural knowledge and metacognitive
knowledge of the concept of Newtons law of universal gravitation and its use in our daily life by
observing analyzing , experimenting and evaluating by questioning, participating in practical work and
group discussion
CONTENT ANALYSIS
TERMS: Newtons law of universal gravitation
FACTS: 1. a ball hits by a cricketer comes down
  2. Everything in the universe attract each other
               3. Tossed coin will comes down
CONCEPTS:
According to Newtons law of universal gravitation:
Everything in the universe attracts each other. The magnitude of the attraction between the objects
directly proportional to the products of its masses and inversely proportional to the square of the
distance between them.
F=G

ACTIVITY 2
Teacher tells about an incident.
Two persons walking on a wet surface. Suddenly
one person slips due to water, his companion hold
his hand to protect him from drop. Then ask
students to analyze the incident and note down
your observation on science diary.
DISCUSSION POINTS
1. Is there any force of attraction between
the two persons?
2. What is the factors affecting the
magnitude of the force?
