High School:
Congratulations to Girls golf for winning the Conference championship. Brooke Rentschler was a
conference medalist and Rachel Blades and Audrey Vitt for being 2
nd
team all Conference.
Senior float committee members need to meet in Ms. Otto's room on Thursday during intervention. We
need to finalize plans for our float so we can get supplies purchased!
The Class Tug Of War will be happening on October 1st! Get your team together and signed up!
Teams of 8 with the following restrictions: Must have 4 boys and 4 girls. Must be from the same
class. Can Only be Pulling on ONE Team. Sign up your team on the Office Window! Rules are
posted around the school on the office window. Sign ups close on September 26!
Spirit Days:
Monday: Mario-- Dress Like your favorite Mario Character
Tuesday: Villain-- Dress like your favorite Villain
Wednesday: PAC Man Day -- [7th Green; 8th Red; 9th Orange; 10th pink; 11th Blue; 12th
Yellow; Teachers -- Purple]
Thursday: Athlete Day -- Dress as an Athlete day
Friday -- Blue and White Day
The Homecoming Dance is right after the Game October 3 till 11:30 in the Elementary
Cafeteria. Out of town and graduated dates must be signed up in the office. The price is $3 per
person or $5 per couple
Any juniors wanting to help make the poster for homecoming need to come to Mrs. Billington's
room during intervention this week. Also, Juniors need to return their half sheet sent home to
their parents by Sept 24th.
FFA Fall Speaking Meeting - Wednesday Intervention
Seniors- The American Legion will be hosting the High School Oratorical Scholarship program.
Students must prepare a speech on one of the given topics on the constitution. There are district,
state,and national competitions and awards. Please see Mrs. Youse if interested. We must
determine a local winner by November 30.
We have a limited amount of 13-14 yearbooks for sale, the cost is $40.00. Please see Mrs.
Moreland if you would like to purchase one, they will be sold on a first come basis.
A+ Tutors: Turn in your time sheets!!!!
Horticulture Class still has mums for sale. $7 for 9 inch pots and $14 for the 12 inch trio pots.

Seniors- The Hagan Foundation Scholarship- Deadline November 15. Go to www.hsfmo.org to apply and
review qualifying criteria.
Seniors: Missouri Cattlemen's Foundation Scholarship is due September 30. See Mrs. Youse if interested.
Wendy's High School Heisman Scholarship Competition is open for applications. Go to
wendyshighschoolheisman.com to apply by October 3rd.
Missouri Farm Bureau Ambassador Scholarship Program applications are due September 30. See Mrs.
Youse if interested.
Junior High:
Please release the junior high students at 8:20 am Thursday, Sept. 25, for the junior high pep
assembly.
Please release the junior high cheerleaders at 8:10 am.
ALL STUDENTS:
FCA needs 8-10 workers for free games at Fall into Paris. Anyone grades 7-12 who would be
willing to help small children play bean bag toss, basketball throw, etc., is welcome. It is a pretty
easy, fun day. First shift 8:30 to about 11:00; second shift 10:45 to about 1:30.
FOOTBALL t-shirts are for sale for $15.00. See Coach Crusha. He has M, L & XL available.
