Throughout the educational reform of the Ministry of Education Youth and Sport (MoEYS) on
developing English for Specific Academic Purposes (ESAP) curriculum for Higher Education Institutes in
Cambodia, University of Health Science, Department of Language (DL) is conducting needs assessment to
collect information about English Program for medical students in UHS. This needs assessment also aims
to identify the needs, challenges / constrains, deficiencies of UHSs English Program. Based on this fact,
we would like to request your valuable time to answer the following questions as appropriate and
recommend with the purpose of improving the quality of education in this area.

Here are some abbreviations that are used in this questionnaire:
GE = General English; MG = Medical Guide; ESAP = English for Specific Academic Purposes.
