Sector Exchange Traded Funds ETFs Scorecard for the Sector ETFs
Materials Select Sector SPDR Fund XLB ($48.58) has 30 components and gained 5.1% in 2014 and set an alltime intraday high at $51.01 on Nov. 21.
Industrial Select Sector SPDR Fund XLI ($56.68) has 64 components and includes some transportation
companies. XLI gained 8.5% in 2014 and set an all-time intraday high at $57.73 on Dec. 30.
Consumer Discretionary Select Sector SPDR Fund XLY ($72.15) has 85 components and gained 8% in 2014
and set an all-time intraday high at $72.97 on Dec. 31.
Consumer Staples Select Sector SPDR Fund XLP ($48.49) has 40 components and gained 12.8% in 2014 and
set an all-time intraday high at $49.63 on Dec. 24.
Energy Select Sector SPDR Fund XLE ($79.16) has 44 components and lost 10.6% in 2014 and set an all-time
intraday high at $101.52 on June 23, 2014.
Finance Select Sector SPDR Fund XLF ($24.73) has 83 components and gained 13.1% in 2014 and set a
multiyear intraday high at $25.14 on Dec. 29.
Health Care Select Sector SPDR Fund XLV ($68.38) has 54 components and gained 23.3% in 2014 and set an
all-time intraday high at $71.42 on Dec. 12.
Utilities Select Sector SPDR Fund XLU ($47.22) has 30 components and gained 24.4% in 2014 and set an alltime intraday high at $49.33 on Dec. 29.
Technology Select Sector SPDR Fund XLK ($41.35) has 71 components and gained 15.7% in 2014 and set a
multiyear all-time intraday high at $42.58 on Nov. 28.
