PiMSGlobe
A component of PiMSlider, PiMSGlobe is a virtual globe program
that allows a user to fly or navigate along an entire transportation
pipeline super-imposed over images sourced from satellite imagery,
aerial photography and ordnance survey maps.

Representing the new flagship module to the PiMSlider suite of software applications,
PiMSGlobe is a virtual globe program that allows a pipeline operator to navigate to any
point along a transportation system, providing a 3-dimensional view of the pipeline, of
defects, of terrain and of any kind of object represented along the pipeline.
Based on standards available from dynamic online maps and rich geospatial technology, PiMSGlobe can connect to almost any
source of mapping data, and combined with the details of the pipeline (for example, directly connecting to a PODS or APDM
database), can present a completely interactive experience to help visualise and manage any transportation network. No further
interface development or adjustments required just plug it in, and go!
