When you flick the tail upward,
this Front-flip Horse will do a flip in midair
and land on its feet.
The letters in blue circles indicate the fold lines.
They are also shown on the practice sheet.
Fold in half along line A .
Unfold the triangle
back to its original position.
Fold the lower triangle
upward along line C .
Fold in half again along line B .
Flatten out the folds.

Turn over.
Fold the lower right
triangle in half,
folding upward along line D .
Open up the triangle.
Flatten out the folds.
Flatten the triangle to
obtain a square.

Open up the triangle.
Crease the fold,
then unfold the triangle
back to its original position.
Flatten out the folds.

Rotate the model
so that the bottom point is
on top.

along line E and F ,
then unfold the paper back
to its original position.
Fold the lower right triangle upward
along line I . Repeat with the
lower left triangle along line J .
Cut the top layer
along the cut line,
in the same manner.
Fold and crease
along line G and H ,
then unfold the paper back
to its original position.
Cut the top layer
along the cut line,
then turn the model over.

Flick the tail upward.
The horse will do a front-flip
in midair.
Oops!
If you flick too hard,
the horse will fall over.
Ta-da!
Try spreading the horse's legs
farther apart and adjusting
how hard you flick the tail.
With a little practice, you will
achieve a perfect landing every time!
The horse lands back
on its feet!
