Dear. Dean Galicia

I am writing to you to express my interest to take up graduate studies in your


department. I have been aspiring to pursue a Masters degree in Arts in Education major
in General Science program at your esteemed university. I have submitted my
application together with the other required documents.

I completed my Bachelor in Secondary Education major in General Science from Bataan


Peninsula State University (BPSU-BC) in 2009. The same year, I passed my licensure
examination test (LET) with an average rating of 83.40.Recently, I completed the skills
training program for Computer Hardware Servicing held at Bataan Peninsula State
University (BPSU-MC). During my time in the program, I learned a great deal about
computers especially in formatting and networking. Fortunate enough, I successfully
passed my NCII assessment right after the training. I would like to mention too, that it is
my honor and privilege to be a recipient of Gurong Iskolar ng Bataan. This program shall
serve as my financial provider to pursue this endeavour.
I wish to further my education as I believe that learning should be a continuous process.
I have a rich four-year working experience in the field of education both in a private
school and public school. I also believe that my personal qualities and the skills that I
have acquired will surely help me in fulfilling your expectations and hopefully increase
my chances of securing a place in your institution. I have researched the course and
determined that it is a strong match to my profession. I strongly believe that pursuing the
said course in your university will enhance my earlier experience and help me grow
professionally.
To conclude, I want to take up a Masters degree in order to refine my knowledge and
skills in my areas of interest, and graduate study at your university will be the most
rational expansion of my academic pursuits. It will be a major footstep in my career
towards attaining my goal as an educator which is to always learn new things and to
impart this learning to my students. As they say - you cannot give what you dont have.
