Pioneer Test
Our Pioneers Unit will come to
an end this week. That means
that the big unit test is coming up NEXT week
on Thursday. All the questions will come from
the 6 Background Sheets. The test support for
the test on our classroom website has been
activated. Check it out for study help! Since
next week is a short week, I will be starting our
review in class this week. Make sure to get a
parent signature to verify that you studied for
the test on Thursday night.

Blackberry Farm Party!
Fun, fun, fun in the sun!
Can you believe it is time to start
thinking about our end of the year
swim party?! Wow!
All the fourth graders will be going to Blackberry
Farm on June 10. The permission slip will be
going home in the MESH this week. Please return
this by May 22.
Meanwhile, please let me know if you are
willing to chaperone or help in another way
(such as purchasing snacks). I will pass this
information on to the mom in Mrs. Reuterskiolds
class who is coordinating the trip.

CAASPP Test
We will be finishing up the
CAASPP testing this week.
We will be doing the math
CAASPP tests on Tuesday
and Wednesday. Please make
sure your child gets to bed early the night
before so s/he is well rested. Also, make
sure they eat a healthy breakfast. Thanks!
Book Clubs
Our next meeting is Thursday
afternoon. Make sure you are
prepared with your "under the
ocean" thinking!
Remember, in order to be prepared, you need
to do the following:
read the 2nd chunk
material embarrassing exercise further
do NOT read ahead

have one post-it per chapter that has
