London is considered one of the top tourist destinations in Europe due to its many attractions rooted in culture, history, and the arts. Some of London's most iconic landmarks include the London Eye, Tower Bridge, and Madame Tussauds. Cardiff, Wales is also recommended for its Cardiff Castle and Wales Millennium Centre performing arts venue. Sport is prominent in English culture, especially football, cricket, rugby, and tennis. Some of the earliest descriptions and codifications of modern sports originated in England during the 19th century. William Shakespeare is widely considered the greatest dramatist of all time while Charles Dickens was a prolific British novelist who published many classics including Oliver Twist.

Great britain

I would like to visit London. London city is considered to be the third largest city in Europe with the
most tourist attractions. There are many ways to enjoy London attractions as it is soaked up with
cultures, history and modern arts. In London we can see a lot of beautiful places like the London
Eye, a big wheel that gives amazing view to the city; the Tower Bridge which represents the most
inconic land mark and one of the most popular attractions; the Madame Tassauds museum,where
people usually come to take photos with celebrities around the world;the Hyde Park, one of the most
beautiful parks,with a large lake, a rose garden and a chance to spend a great Sunday afternoon.
Also, I would like to visit Cardiff. In the heart of Cardiffs compact city centre lies Cardiff Castle.
Its walls and fairytale towers conceal over 2,000 years of history, kick-started by , the Wales
Millennium Centre is one of the most varied and lively performing arts centres in Europe. There are
also plenty of other things to do in Cardiff Bay.Just 5 minutes from the city centre is the chic
Mermaid Quay the perfect place to refuel after a busy day of sightseeing, or to relax with a
romantic meal on the waterfront.

Sport plays a prominent role in English life. Popular team sports in England are association
football, cricket, rugby union and rugby league. Major individual sports
include badminton, athletics, tennis, golf, cycling, motorsport and horseracing. A number of modern
sports were codified in England during the nineteenth century, among them cricket, rugby
union, rugby league, football, tennis and badminton. The game of baseball was first described in
18th century England. There are four sports in England which operate high profile professional
leagues. Association football is by far the most popular sport and is played from August to
May. Rugby union is also a winter sport. Cricket is played in the Summer, from April to
September. Rugby league is traditionally a winter sport, but since the late 1990s the elite
competition has been played in the summer to appeal to the family market, and take advantage of
the faster pitches. There is also a professional ice hockey league in Britain called the Elite Ice
Hockey League.

William Shakespeare, often called the English national poet, is widely considered the greatest dramatist
of all time. With the exception of Romeo and Juliet, William Shakespeare's first plays were mostly
histories written in the early 1590s. Richard II, Henry VI
Charles Dickens was the well-loved and prolific British author of numerous works that are now
considered classics.(british novelist). Around this time, Dickens had also become publisher of a
magazine calledBentleys Miscellany. In it he started publishing his first novel, Oliver Twist, which
follows the life of an orphan living in the streets.
