Terminology
Loan origination General
is the process where a customer applies for a loan that is provided
by a financial institute until both parties finally sign the contract. Loan
Origination includes the application, tracking and underwriting prior to
loan approval
Loan origination @ SAP
In SAP, loan origination will include the creation of the Business Partner in the CRM
(Customer Relationship Management) module. The Financial Services business
scenario contract origination addresses application development for an integrated
customer oriented software solution from the front office (e.g. mySAP CRM application)
to the back office (TRBK). Loan contracts are concluded as part of loan origination.
