Gourmet Ice Cream Products specialise in supplying boutique hand
made natural Ice Cream, Gelato, Sorbet, and Frozen Desserts to the
hospitality and retail markets. Our client base includes some of the
leading 5 star dining venues in South East Queensland and various Ice
Cream, Gelato and Smoothie Bar chains around Australia.

HISTORY

Gourmet Ice Cream Products was formed in 1997 following a number of acquisitions of smaller boutique
manufacturing operations that have been satisfying customers in South East Queensland for over 30
years.

Today, Gourmet Ice Cream Products, under the management of David and Andrew Fitzpatrick, have
developed a portfolio of brands and products that cater specifically to a number of market segments.
Their ongoing aim is to provide quality and innovation that one would experience in fine dining rooms
from around the world.

David and Andrew are passionate about creating the very best. They have finely tuned the
manufacturing process, forged strong and reputable relationships to secure the best available ingredients
and they are continually in contact with their customers and listening to their comments.

The Team at Gourmet Ice Cream Products look forward to continuing the tradition of being the market
leaders and innovators in the frozen desserts market.

LOCATION

In 2004, Gourmet Ice Cream Products re-located to a new purpose built manufacturing facility to
accommodate the increasing business that was and is continually taking place.

The location selected at Virginia in the northern suburbs is strategically located close to the Gateway
arterial road which enables quick access to the Brisbane, Gold Coast and Sunshine Coast markets.

All of our products are produced, stored and distributed from this site. This enables Gourmet Ice Cream
Products to have total control of the cold chain process to guarantee the quality of our products.

PRODUCT QUALITY

At Gourmet Ice Cream Products we pride ourselves in delivering exceptional products, sales and service.

Our modern commercial kitchens are built to Safe Food accreditation and we adhere to a certified
HACCP quality system. These systems ensure each and every product is free from harmful microbes or
contaminants. We source the finest ingredients available from only reputable suppliers. We have
selected full cream Jersey milk and cream, seasonally fresh fruit and vegetables, quality couverture
chocolate and traditional imported Italian flavours.

The quality continues in the delivery of our products utilising our modern fleet of company owned
vehicles to ensure that correct handling and temperatures are maintained to the point of stacking into
your freezers.

Through our Michel’s Sorbets brand we pride ourselves in partnering with leading Executive Chefs in
creating delectable and indulgent taste sensations that compliment their menus. Our aim is to complete
your patron’s dining experience so whether it be stock line products prepared by our pastry chefs or
your signature flavour prepared on your behalf, we are able to accommodate small batch quantities for

experienced chefs produce your signature flavours for you.

of craftsman constructed Gelato.

The original recipe bought back from Rome 30 years ago has
been recreated here in Australia to offer you an extremely smooth
and creamy range of milk & fruit gelato that has a dense texture
and intense flavour.

We source only the very best first grade frozen fruits and
puree’s and offer them under the Gourmet Orchard banner
for sensational prices. Available in 1kg and 10kg Packs.

• Orders can be placed by phone or fax.

• We have a 24 hour message service available so orders can be placed at any time.

• Orders requested for same day delivery (on designated days) will only be processed
if received by 7:00 am that day.

• Our trucks depart at 8:00 am to service your orders. Late orders would delay
deliveries.
