1978 - Target on Teaching and Learning in Low-Income Communities: A Program for Improving Learning
in Low-Income Schools Through the Development of Educational Personnel [Proposal funded for $ 1.1
million dollars by the U.S.Department of Education through the National Teacher Corps program.] The $
1.1 million dollars was allocated over a five-year span of time, during which our Teacher Corps Project
operated in Robeson Elementary School, Junior High School Number Two, and Trenton Central High
School. I co-authored the grant with Dr. Walthew and served as Associate Director/Documentor for the
project.
