You want to install and use SAP Credit Management 6.0.
Solution
SAP Credit Management contains the following parts which are delivered by
means of separate software components:
o
The central component which is delivered by means of the software
component Financial Basis 6.0 (technical name FINBASIS 600). The XI
Content also belongs to the software component version FINBASIS 00.
This Content requires the SAP Exchange Infrastructure Release 7.0.
The integration with the Accounts Receivable (FI-AR) and Sales
(SD-SLS) which is delivered by means of the SAP R/3 plug-in 2004.1
for Releases R/3 4.6C, R/3 Enterprise 4.70 and SAP ERP Central
Component 5.0 and 6.0. (Technical names of the software component
versions: PI 2004_1_46C, or PI 2004_1_470, or PI 2004_1_500). XI
Content belongs to each of these software component versions.
Business Intelligence Content which is delivered with Release
BI_CONT 3.52.
The following installation instructions are intended for these software
components and they describe the prerequisites and procedure for installing
the software components:

Financial Basis 6.0: Note 852446. If the software component
Financial Basis is already installed in the relevant system and you
have to execute it only after you upgrade Financial Basis to
Release 6.0, see Note 852448 instead of the note mentioned above.

You have the following options depending on the release of your Accounts
Receivable or SD systems:
If your Accounts Receivable or SD systems run in a system with Release ERP
2005 or higher, you have the following two options for installing the
Credit Management:
o
You can install the software component Financial Basis 6.0 in this
system.
You can install the software component Financial Basis 6.0 in

another system that fulfills the installation prerequisites of
Financial Basis 6.0 (in particular, you can install this component
on a separate system that is used for Credit Management only).
If your Accounts Receivable or SD systems have a release status lower than
ERP 2005, you can perform the following only:
o
Because R/3 4.6C, R/3 Enterprise of 4.70 and ERP2004 do not meet
the installation prerequisites of Financial Basis 6.0, you have to
install the software component Financial Basis 6.0 on another
system that fulfills the installation prerequisites of Financial
Basis 6.0 (in particular, you can install this component on a
separate system that is used for Credit Management only).
The Accounts Receivable and SD systems always communicate with the Credit
Management via the Exchange Infrastructure (Release 7.0), regardless of the
system on which the Credit Management is installed.
Accounts Receivable and SD systems with a release status lower than R/3
4.6C are not supported by SAP Credit Management 6.0.
If you have several Accounts Receivable or SD systems that you want to
integrate with SAP Credit Management 6.0, you can also install the
Financial Basis 6.0 in a system and integrate several Accounts Receivable
or SD systems with this system via the Exchange Infrastructure. The system
in which you install Financial Basis 6.0 could also be one of your Accounts
Receivable or SD systems if these systems meet the installation
prerequisites of Financial Basis 6.0.
SAP R/3 plug-in 2004.1 must be installed in every Accounts Receivable and
SD system with a release status lower than ECC 6.0 that is supposed to be
linked to SAP Credit Management.
In addition to the installation prerequisites mentioned in the installation
instructions, you have to import the following Support Package statuses or
implement the following notes to use SAP Credit Management 6.0:

Public Sector Records Management (PSRM)
The PSRM is based on the Basis Case Management in the exact same way as the
credit limit change requests. However, the PSRM cannot be used in a client
with other Case Management-based applications. In particular, it cannot be
used with the Credit Management in a client if the credit limit change
request function is supposed to be used.
Important
Bear in mind the following:
The master data of the SAP Credit Management is implemented as an
enhancement of the SAP business partner. For every business partner you
want to monitor in the SAP Credit Management, there must be a master record
of the central business partner in the system and client in which Credit M
anagement runs.
The distribution of the business partner master records in a system
landscape with distributed systems is not a function of the SAP Credit
Management. This function can be implemented with the Master Data
Management (MDM) or with an individual project solution.
Note 806289 describes a possible procedure for implementing an individual
project solution of this type for a 2-system scenario.
A further option for replicating master data is provided in the standard
system with the subsequent Release ERP2005 if the following prerequisites
are met:

SAP Credit Management is used in a 1 or 2-system scenario. There are
several Accounts Receivable systems with an integrated Financial Basis
system for Credit Management.
2.
ECC 6.0 is available in either the Accounts Receivable system or in
the system in which Financial Basis is installed.
3.
You can then replicate master data using the customer/vendor master
data synchronization. There is more information about this in the IMG
under Cross-application Components -> Master Data Synchronization.
