PREFACE

Knowledge without application is a waste. So it is necessary to get the


practical knowledge along with the theoretical knowledge. It is very
necessary to study the fundamental of IT Industry.
A person has to face a lots of problems when he goes through the actual
atmosphere of business, no doubt class room is an important part of
knowledge of business environment, but practical exposure provide some
extra knowledge about the theoretical concepts. Project report supplements
the theoretical studies i.e. it covers what is left uncovered in the classrooms.
It offers an exposure to real practice of management in business
organization. It exposes student to an invaluable treasure of experience.
The successful completion of the project was a unique experience for me
because getting more real exposure in market is itself a great opportunity for
me as achieved better practical knowledge about customer satisfaction,
technologies being used in retail store and retail formats, the experience
which I gained is very essential at this turning point of my carrier. This
