* crochet hook, appropriate size for the yarn chosen
# one safety eye
* stuffing (fiberfill, polyfill, etc.)
* tapestry needle
* felt
* glue gun
What | used:
# medium worsted weight yarn (blue, white, red, yellow, gray,
brown)
# crochet hooks (Sizes F, G, and C)
# 9 mm safety eye
% white felt for eye, “A”, and 2 stars
® black felt for mouth
Finished Size:
Baby Minion sits approximately 4.5” tall from tooshie to tip of the
wings, based on the materials that | used. Sizes may vary depending
on the yarn, tension used, and size of crochet hook.
Abbreviations:
R= round
st = stitch
ch = chain stitch
hde = half double crochet
de = double crochet
sc = single crochet
sl st = slip stitch
inc = increase (single crochet twice in the same stitch)
dec = decrease (single crochet two stitches together)
* = repeat instructions between * and *

Each piece begins with a Magic Double Ring unless otherwise stated.
Use any type of ring you are comfortable with (i.e. adjustable loop,
chain 2, and single crochet in second chain, etc.). Work in one
continuous spiral; do not join.

Straps (make 2):
With brown yarn, chain 9.
Sew to the shield backing as shown in photo.
* Felt pieces
You will need to cut five items out of felt
1) White - larger star for chest
2) White - smaller star for shield (no larger than the blue portion on
shield)
3) White - “A” for Mask
4) White - eye (use goggle for sizing guide)
5) Black - mouth

1) Cuta tiny slit in the center of the felt eye circle so you can put the safety
eye though. Glue onto the beanie
2) Sew goggle onto beanie around the brim of felt eye.
3) Glue on “A”
4) Stuff and attach legs to body suit.
5) Lightly stuff, sew ends shut, and attach arms to brim of body suit
6) Glue on larger star to body.
7). Whipstitch front and back of shield together,
8) Glue smaller star to the middle of front of shield.
Lastly, | like to blue the body suit and mask to the yellow body so they do not
slip off. But, that’s up to you!
