Dear Eric:

Thank you for inviting us to bid on your Dish Network project. Please find the following
firm bid estimate for Guy Shelmerdine to direct 3 spots on stage in Los Angeles through
one light video dailies. The following details apply:

DISH NETWORK FIRM BID

“Countdown” TV: 30
“Panels” TV: 30
“Dramatic Pause” TV: 30

1 x 10/hr. Pre-Light/Pre-Rig day & 2 x 10/hr. shoot days – Los Angeles shooting
zone

Production: $525,908 U.S. dollars.

Schedule and Approach


Our approach is to produce the project in one 10/hr. Pre-Light/Pre-Rig day and two 10/hr.
shoot days on stage in Los Angeles within the studio zone. We plan to fly the talent in a
wire rig and shoot the spots against green screen. We are bid for stock footage research.

We recommend a rehearsal day with the talent on the pre-light day so they can get used
to the wire rig etc.

Casting, Wardrobe and Talent


Casting is included for 2 principal talent. We have allowed for one prep, two casting, and
one callback day in Los Angeles.

Wardrobe and styling has been included for 2 on-camera principals. This estimate does
not include any allowance for limo service or celebrity amenities.

Any extras will be sourced locally in Los Angeles and chosen from extras casting books.

SAG stunt adjustment payments to be paid by the agency.

No talent session fees, payments, travel, hotels and per diem are included in this bid.
Art Department
Our estimate allows for art department labor, props, and set dressing based on the
agency’s scripts and the director’s treatment. We have bid to build or rework an existing
satellite prop.

We have not included any costs associated with color correct product, artwork, graphics
or logos in this estimate.

Equipment
Our bid includes 2 standard 35mm camera packages. We have bid to record sync sound.
We have allowed for VTR with playback, walkie-talkies, and a dolly. We are bid for the
necessary grip and lighting equipment.

We have allowed for the purchase & processing and one-light video dailies of 14,000’
feet of 35mm film. Processing and dailies are local. We have not allowed for high-speed
camera system (i.e. Photosonics), weekend lab fees or Saturday dailies.

Editorial, Post and Finishing


No costs associated with editorial, post and finishing are included in this estimate.

Production Insurance
We are bid to provide Production Insurance through delivery of dailies to the editorial
facility

Payment Terms
Per AICP Guidelines payment schedule shall be 75/25; the first 75% due upon signing of
the contract and the remaining 25% due upon delivery of dailies.

Agency to provide:
We understand the agency will provide the following:

 Talent payments
 SAG stunt adjustment payments
 Agency travel, hotel and per diem
 Agency cell phones
 Stock Footage fees, dubs, shipping
 All color correct hero product, working product, graphics and logos
 Voice over, music, sound design, CGI, and editorial completion
