Laser Settings

The document provides baseline laser engraving and cutting settings for various materials on 35W and 50W laser systems. It includes a table with settings for engraving substrates like acrylic, metal, glass, wood and cutting materials like acrylic, leather, plastic and wood. It notes that settings may need adjustment for individual laser systems and that maintaining clean optics impacts energy. It recommends adjusting one variable at a time and keeping power as low as possible.

laser system.
A special note when using CerMark Metal Marking Solution: not all metals use the same speed setting. Metals that are thick
will require more heat energy and a slower speed setting. Softer metals like aluminum and pewter also require more heat
energy and a slower engraving speed setting. If the engraving washes off, slow the speed setting until the engraving bonds
to the metal.
